The best way to enjoy cs2 is playing on weekly bonus to get drop and then close the game until next week.
I agree, sadly it has been like this since the release. I hope new gamemodes or an operation are coming soon, because atm it's just sad.

The best way to gain exp was retake - 4x per every point in ranking. 65 points, and you got 1000 exp. rounds takes max. 40 sec, because we was playing for retake after plant +5 seconds warmup. I remember I made from 17 exp to drop in 6 games, that was not more than 48 minutes XD
Yeah I loved Retakes too, at my level we all kinda suck and don't plant the bomb too often, and people are usually friendlier in Retakes. I hope they decide to bring it to CS2. Also yeah, from what I gavely remember they gave a ton of XP 😃

Wingman can be one of the fastest methods if you purposely derank to low ranks and then win 9-0 every game, which can be anything from 5 to 10 minutes on maps like Inferno or Nuke. Although ofc, first you need to derank there which will waste your time and XP.
Yeah if you're good, you can easily go 9-0 in the lower ranks, but as you said it would take you some time to derank.
Also, if you went AFK to lose you might get banned for griefing, so you would have to play badly and lose on purpose but that isn't even fun 💀

fun fact: dm xp is capped at 800 (200 + 600 weekly) if you get 1k score, getting 1.1 - 1.2k score will still only give you 800xp
oh I didn't know that, so the theoretical maximum for deathmatch becomes around 4363 XP per hour, at least until the bonus runs out and then the XP starts being reduced.
@@IvanJustW technically its 4800 xp (800 x 6 games that last 10 minutes) but yeah, usually takes me 7 dm games to get my weekly level up
wow that's cool, I can't manage such a score every time, but yeah in my calculations I accounted for the time after the game is over, the loading for the next and the warmup, so around 11 minutes to get from the start of a game to the start of the next.

yoo nice, the chance of getting a rare case is low enough, but to get one that's actually worth something is much lower than unboxing a knife 🤯
The best item I dropped was a huntsman case a few months ago, it still makes me smile to think about it 😄

I love playing cs2, but i feel like having weekly xp and weekly drop at the same time is redundant. Why not add it where once you completed your weekly xp bonuses, you get your drop?
idk, something like daily or weekly quests would be cool for XP and items. I know that's a thing in Operations, but those only happen like every 2 years 😭

Best way is probably wingman even tho it gives less xp but you have better chance of winning and dont have to break your wrist by shooting for 10 min straight in dm or arms race ( i know dm gives most xp but i am not going to try hard for 6 deathmatches in a row) . you can stay calm get carried or if u are decent player know nades and stuff the win is definitely yours .
yeah Wingman feels lighter than Competitive to play because it's shorter and you're only playing with one other person, and it's more fun than Deathmatch. I do enjoy playing DM tho, so if I want to get XP I play that, and if I want some XP but want to chill a bit then I usually choose Wingman. I hope Valve brings War Games and Danger Zone to CS2 soon 🤞

facts, it was a completely different gamemode with more open spaces, much more room for cool plays and it made you appreciate even a pistol because in the early game your enemy might not even have one. It also makes you more thoughtful of your shots as you have limited ammo

Deathmatch is the best xp farm u can always get 1000 score with sg.I no life it for red service medal reduced xp gives me 35xp per game

I only had 39 last year and consistently played for 1.5 levels a week. ended only with the purple medal but that's fine. Red medal takes way too long time and commitment but good luck to you))
just buy additional 9 acc and play 5vs5 in competitive uses Avast Sandbox and middle pc(y need 1060 6gb, 32gb ram, and 8\16 cool cp)( i have xeon 2667v4 and farm like this)
as a result, I farm 10 accounts in 1.5 hours. and I get an average of $4-5. It's not much, but I don't spend a lot of time playing only against cheaters.
wait are you playing 5v5s against yourself? How does that work? (and if that's the case, I don't recommend continuing as Valve has banned people who were AFKing and farming)
@@IvanJustW this is a manual farming without abuse rules (its farm without FSM PANEL or TEDON), a ban may come for commerce, but I have been farming like this for six months, and there is nothing.

I did last year farm exp... The best way to farm is the one you enjoy the most. theoretically , DM is clearly the easiest way but, do you really wanna pac pac non-stop ? I can play 1-2 full games of DM but after that, It really becomes tedious. Retakes were my favorite in CSGO. They gave the same points as the casual games but it was way way easier to get points and the rounds were much quicker . I'd say , the secret is to have fun and to enjoy the game. If you do it just for the sake of doing it , you'll eventually just drop it off.
yeah I agree, Retakes is my favourite mode too, but in CS2 this is the best thing I can do, just play a few games of DM, get the drop and then not play for a week 🥲

It's super slow, so slow and boring in fact that I gave up on drops after a few weeks and just play Faceit without wasting my time on Valve dm servers.
