Our professional 'looky loos' check out two incredible West Coast homes in British Columbia, Canada!
The first home is a 3 million dollar beautifully constructed cedar log home with elaborate chandeliers and an outdoor pool. The second home is a rustic, elegant 8 million dollar farmhouse with award winning gardens that has been the location for many Hollywood movies!
I don't think people who are visually interested in every aspect of a gorgeous house wants to see sales people so much in a video.
I grew up in a long cabin. That creaking of it settling....really is so comforting!!
You really can’t beat the look and feel of a log cabin.
Beautiful house. Hopefully it brings her joy that her husband played such a huge part in the design and building aspects. His creation will outlive us all.

Great Island with No Sink! I always picture ingredients for a meal. I used to cook for 12+ people at the age of 12-14, and sometimes 3 times a day. Good job.
This first, maple ridge cabin was used in the movie, “CRASH SITE”, now showing on TUBI , free viewing. I recognized it right off. I love this cabin. It is beautiful.
LOVE the log cabin house. Totally my style but I can't imagine cleaning it!

Mandy Jones ....I would agree ! I would love a log cabin ...however, I would not want to deforest any land to obtain the wood or have the house too large, because I would spend an exorbitant amount of time cleaning it ! I have a plan in my head already ! I am in dire need of my OWN place !
0:50 "sky" helicopters are my favorite of all the helicopters. They are the bestest
That backsplash is unique to me. I really love it. It is just so colorful. Just so happens that we are updating our kitchen and a new backsplash is something we want to do!
We always get great ideas when we see these homes, too!
Thanks, a great home! I get all kinds of ideas myself. I want to move and buy a log cabin now, but my wife isn't ready to leave yet. She's finally been making some real money in sales, so most likely this dream will never be realized. Makes me want to cry, lol

Christmas is beautiful in a similar place Christmas when a family lost a girl and angels came to help heal fireplace was exactly the same wood burning and sharing stockings.
And, unlike so many other houses, it at least has a piano!!

The house is so beautiful
I was at this house yesterday and over the years and due to lack of maintenance it is a quite the mess. The lawn is uncut, overgrown and the back yard is uneven and full of weeds. hopefully, the new owners are able to fix it up 🤧
I lived in this house for 15 years. I’m actually one of the kids in the video. The new owners completely destroyed my fathers creation. It resembles a junk yard now. I could only imagine what my Dad would say if he saw what they did to it. It’s truly heart breaking. But I’m happy this video is out there so people can see how beautiful it once was.

What they don't tell you is what it takes and costs to maintain these properties especially the gardens, for the lady with the log home I'm single and have always wanted to live in a log home, I'm also very handy, heh, I can dream can't I?

The video is really beautiful, but, they switch so fast it is impossible to even focus in on the beautiful house, Slow down a little so the viewers can see what you are filming. The editor should focus on the beauty not the Babbling talking heads.

$8 million dollars? Better to buy a 10,000 acre farm/ranch house built in the 1800s. Several to choose from. This is just over priced. That's $6,365,120. US dollars.

The only thing wrong in the kitchen is no natural cupboards. No natural stone tops or tilingwhere the coloured tiles are.
its OK....but hardly worth 8 million......I don't see it......you can get a lot more in the USA for that kind of money......it looks like a regular house in the burbs of anywhere USA....for a fraction of the cost.......but I realize its Canada where they pay through the nose for nothing......not interested at all

location location location. A property of this size and caliber with in commuting distance of any of the USAs international cities would be at this price level or higher.
That house is $8M because it's only 35min from downtown Vancouver. LOL U.S cities doesn't have anything to do with this. It's BC ......even a price of a average small house is like $1.6m, real estate is very expensive in Canada unless you live in like Saskatchewan or something.
Well, log houses are necessarily expensive, I built mine in French Alps for just above 100 000€, have a look ;)
