7-Up Cream Cheese Pound Cake Recipe

  • Cake:
    3 sticks salted/unsalted butter room temp.
    3 cups sugar
    8 ounces (1 block) cream cheese room temp.
    3 cups Swans Down Cake Four
    6 eggs room temperature room temp.
    3 teaspoons vanilla extract
    2 teaspoons lemon extract
    1 teaspoon almond extract
    1 teaspoon Cream Bouquet
    3/4 cups 7-Up
    Glaze:
    2 cups powdered sugar
    3-4 tablespoons 7-Up
    Imitation vanilla extract (no tint)
    1 teaspoon lemon extract
    Bake 90 minutes at 315 degrees

    I too follow Ms Donna, I love all of her recipes. But I think I can do without the almond extract next time. However, it was very moist.

      Almond extract isn’t for everybody. It has a very prominent and distinct flavor profile. I’m glad it was moist.

      @AshleyNRichardson Well I do like almond extract, but of course almond extract gave it a cherry flavor. I wanted the lemon-lime taste. I love your videos!
