Blueberry Dump Cake Recipe
If you're looking for a quick and easy way to get the cobble taste without the cobbler hassle. This is the recipe for you! Enjoy!
1-2 pints fresh blueberries (you may also use frozen or pie filling)
1-2 Tablespoons vanilla extract or to taste
1 Teaspoon lemon extract or to taste
1 Teaspoon Cream Bouquet
Box cake mix (white or yellow will do/any brand)
1-2 sticks of butter (salted or unsalted)
Bake at 350 degrees 45 min.-1 hr. (Watch so it doesn’t burn). I like mine brown

Hi, did you use any leveling in this cake? Did you add baking powder to the cake flour? I know since you used salted butter, no salt needed. The cake looked so soft and moist. I will be baking this cake. I love pecans. Thanks

Hey Ashley! I will put this on my list of cakes to make. You know I'm coming with a question or two: HaHa! Had you put the vanilla flavors and the cream of bouquet in, would you have put the blueberries in a bowl and coated them or just sprinkle on top in the pan? And, would it be okay to use the Joy of Bake spray to spray in between the butter? As always, TFS! Hope you are enjoying your summer.🥰
Hey ChefSqueeze!!! Definitely try it. You’ll enjoy it. I love your questions. That lets me know you’re paying attention and really watching. Yes, I would’ve tossed the blueberries to make sure everything was coated. I wouldn’t use the Joy of Baking because it has flour in it. You wanna use a cooking spray like what you’d use to sauté vegetables or cook regularly. Thanks for watching! And yes enjoying my summer!!

Hey Chef Squeez!! We can’t be out here wasting materials! Oh and the word I used was macerate. Macerating typically involves adding sugar and often a liquid (like fruit juice or liquor) to fruit, and letting it all marinate until the fruit is soft or more tender.
