For those who are wondering, Hades was the only respectful man in the GOW series, not sending minions during his boss battle and was just minding his own business, and never cheated on his wife in the original mythology
And gave Kratos a set of the best weapons and abilities in his arsenal
Hades was actually pretty chill and didnt even deserve that shit fam. I still feel bad for doing my mans like that.

and then Kratos replies '' you succeeded'' before killing Ares.
Also in GoW3 when Kratos is facing Zeus he tells him ''I see only what I have come to destroy'' Kratos had this black-air force energy since 2005

Man oh man you have no idea how happy I am you made this one. Kratos completely annihilated every god that stood in his way including Zeus himself. He did all of them dirty but my absolute favorites he faded was Hermes, Helios, and Poseidon. Also, boi (Atreus) annoyed the mess out of Kratos and I found that hilarious 😂

I don’t think you payed attention to the mural in the ending. Kratos dies in this next game. Assumably by Thor and kratos’s death is what triggers ragnarok because Atreus (Loki) goes insane and initiates it.
Kratos already foreshadowed it earlier in the game as well when they had the conversation about dying for another person. Kratos says “If it meant you would live, yes I would boy”. In the mural you see Atreus holding Kratos as he’s dying and the next panel is Atreus embracing his rage and ragnarok starting.
Kratos is going to sacrifice himself to save Atreus, which in turn drives Atreus to embrace his rage regardless and triggers ragnarok.
As to how Hades found himself a wife: he kidnapped her when she was taking a bath in a lake and held her in his dungeon until she agreed to marry him.

I don't know if that's the lore in game as I've played god of war once like ten years ago but Hades is still the best God out of all these people.

Kratos only lost to Zeus because he was tired and drained literally but he’s was still a God tho thats why he could kill all the other Gods in olympus and then move on to norse mythology.

@Ryder Collins after the fight with poseidon he climbs up to olympus and attacks zeus, zeus doesn't fight him one on one instead he flies up to the sky and strikes him with lightning which makes him fall from olympus
I dont think he had attained that level of power yet, poseidon is the closest being to zeus' power and he heavily relied on gaea to help him defeat poseidon so he probably wouldn't have been able to take him 1 on 1 much less zeus at the time ofcoarse
Drained? My guy pulled up on Zeus and told him to stop hiding behind the skirts of Athena.
He lost to Zeus because Gaia threw him to the streets. He would have annihilated him if he got a proper 1v1.
Fun fact - at the end of the the OG GoW trilogy (including the games in-between) there's about 11 Greek gods/primal deities that were smart enough to not want smoke with Kratos. It's easier to count who Kratos DIDN'T KILL in the Greek god pantheon - that's how many bodies he caught.

Amphitrite - goddess of the sea ( Poseidon's wife but since he died idk)
Triton - minor god of the sea (Poseidon's son)
Selene - goddess of the moon
Eros - god of carnal love
Hypnos - god of sleep
Definitely, probably, most definitely missed a few?
Interestingly enough - Apollo has never actually appeared in the og game series but was heavily referenced/mentioned, especially in GoW Ascension. Another interesting note is Morpheus didn't catch the fade despite being directly involved in the situation in Chains of Olympus.

My favorite part about the final Zeus fight is that after Kratos ghostbusted his soul back into his body and threw the blades of exile to the side, you could see Zeus beginning to back up as Kratos was bull rushing towards him. Zeus knew he was finished, he just wanted to run away lol.
Actually Zeus says sorry to kratos but it was cut out the game also Zeus should of killed kratos if it wasn't for Pandora or power of hope thing

Sad part is how everyone neglects Aphrodite. Kratos killed everyone, except Aphrodite and Artemis (Artemis was clever, never showed her face after GOW 1) , but he did f**ked her brains out, then went to see Her husband Hephaestus. When he asked if Aphrodite "concurred" another god, Kratos just said you should discuss this with your wife. It was literally right after the Aphrodite and Kratos sex mini game. His junk was still wet with Aphrodite juice.

According to Greek mythology, hades kidnapped persophone and dragged her to the underworld. He also forced her to become his wife. The gods are real sicko's. Poseidon also raped Medusa and was punish by Goddess Athena for being raped in her temple. Athena turned her hair into snakes and made it so that anyone who looks in her eyes would petrify. Looking back, at the end of the day, Kratos’ story plays out like a lot of other Greek tragedies (lost family, vendettas, trying to avoid fate only leading him to it) only in this case, even him trying to destroy the gods and the fates and anything else that could threaten to control his story ends up backfiring when the world is left in ruins and he remains just as alone as when he started. And even now, his path still ends up being influenced by others like Faye and the Jotuns.
Even further than that, if you really think about it, he got as far as he did because he was backed by either other gods or titans with plans of their own. First Ares, Athena and Zeus, then Gaia then finally Athena again, all of them supporting him, giving him all kinds of weapons and abilities, telling him where to go or what to do, just like in Greek myths. As powerful as Kratos is and how much damage he does, its just as much to do with his own power as it does the machinations of those who wanted to use him to destroy the Olympians and the Aesir. No matter how much he destroys or how many he kills, he never ends up free to control his own life.

I think the novels or comics help bridge the gap between 3 and 4 timeline wise.
We’re still missing a good bit of the story but we know from the novel that Kratos was basically dragged to NorseWorld by a giant wolf (or two?). The comics don’t really shed more light on it. They’re like filler adventures.
