New Shock Absorber from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ib/1ASHA00228
Shock absorbers help your vehicle stay stable and safe. Signs of worn out shocks are knocking or bumping noises, loose handling, or a bouncy or bumpy ride. The typical service life of a shock absorber is 50,000 miles, depending on conditions. TRQ shocks and struts are engineered to fit your vehicle perfectly. This video shows you how to install shock absorbers on your 2006-2012 Ford Fusion.

Great video, took me a while but finally got it done. You definitely need some low profile 14 & 15mm ratcheting wrenches to get this done.

I have a 2010 Fusion SE. I purchased two front shock assemblies and the back two struts from TRQ as a package for under $250! it took me less than two hours to do the front. Now on to the back two tomorrow!

You DON'T need to remove the control arms or any of that. Go watch the video from Fix It Angel. Its a MUCH simpler fix than this. Dont make yourself work harder than you need to

I would like to add that if you reuse the upper control arms the notch on the top of it tells you which way to put them back in.

I'm just gonna let the auto shop install it for me and do an alignment afterwards. I probably would do it if I had time for it but not at the moment.

I bolted mine together, and you're able to move the bracket to the correct angle

This video makes it look easy, but I just cannot get to the upper bolt on the control arm, nothing I have tried will get me in there, why does this video make it look so damn easy. I wish I had a lift, I think that would be a little better than the driveway and jack stands...I have to wobble type sockets and it just seems no matter where I go something in my way....

The upper arm doesn't need to be removed to get the bracket out

i cannot get to the shock mount bolt near the upper control arm at all...nor can I get the upper control arm out... I just dont get it. This to me is the worst design for shocks I have ever come across and the only ones I have ever been stumped on, and I have done shocks on a bunch of vehicles....

@@stephenpetrovich2383 took me 5 hours to do the driver side on my 2010. Finally got the nut off the lower shock on the passenger side , but the bolt is seized in the bushing. Going to try penetrating oil to see if that will free it up. If not,a torch and if that doesn’t work I’ll cut it off. I agree with you. Terrible design. I’ve done plenty of shocks over the years, but this……….?
