I love these WU Vlog videos, it's amazing what these people can create when restoring these old homes with just a pick and broom. I would love to live in some of these houses when they finish them. My favorites are the ones in the side of hills with windows only in the front. I've always wanted to live in a cave style house.

My family is Pennsylvania Dutch. I remember the bed mattresses were made with horse hair. The sheets were made from cheese cloth, and there were quilts as bedspreads. All furniture was built by my greatgrandfather out of solid hard wood. He built the house, it was made from stone. My cousin now owns it.
If that was her childhood home, it probably inspired her toward her career or craftsmanship. Then she circled back and completed all the projects she imagined during her childhood. Or maybe I'm projecting all of that. =)
Her effort and strengh is amazing! And her tools are simple! Imagine her with updated technology!! She's non stop! Will the family value her effort? I do, as an outsider!!

I was totally amazed at the work ethics of this young lady, with Children. But some how I got lost at the end. I was waiting the entire time for her to give the house to her parents..building an old fashion stove, etc. Then the celebration at the end showed all new stuff in the house , even the stove. What did I miss?
I see the men couldn't even put their trash in a bin though. I'm not sure if the last house with all the food was the house she was renovating, but I do admire her heard work and skill. I just wish the men would have helped.

She's a marvel! She builds a one-hob wood stove out of bricks, mortar, and dirt, and it becomes a modern 4 burner gas stove. She has old dilapidated furniture and only a coat of oil, and it becomes like what you'd buy from a furniture store. An old dirty armoire becomes a wall of cabinetry. (No, I don't think this is the same house. It has mop boards, commercial floors, cabinetry done by professionals, modern windows, modern lighting, and oh, so many other discrepancies.)
