When he climbed that tree, my loin muscles ached just watching him, lol. The walls he rebuilt are not easy to do. The method he used is called dry stacking. It is hard work that many refer to it as an art form. To keep everything in a straight line and fill each gap with just the right stone takes a talented eye. I also loved the different generations all working together. I'm wondering if it is for him, a family, or for his family too. That is a lot of food growing for one person!
I wish it was in English. I wonder what those signs said. Enjoying all these types of Videos. Shows one you can make do, with not much at all. Love when they find old things that can be reused in Garden, and Home. I sit here and say, keep that, and so pleased when they put it aside. Lol. And yes, it would be nice to see the finished project.
The Eastern part of the world fixes properties differently than the US. They clean and organize the courtyard and vicinity first. I can understand the courtyard because of the rubble in the way. Though saving the prettiness for last keeps from messing the walkways. Their yards are the best looking , along with an English garden. It is the choice of plants, shrubs and flowers. 50 plus years ago, there were not the varieties available like today. My family had limited choices and the flower beds were full of 10 or so types. Now, house plants were numerous. At 79, I live vicariously through DIY books, magazines and UTUBE, gardens and yards. Sooo, thanks to the folks who make these possible for me.
Fascinating to watch traditional building methods. No chainsaw or concrete mixer, only traditional tools and hardware labour. Gardening irrigation method same as in Spain, not a drop wasted. I admire that young man so much. His passion for his house is amazing
I am so touched by the photos of the family that had lived there previously. Usually when you leave or abandon a place you have lived, you take family photos. So very sad. And it is so wonderful all the hard work that this young man has provided to this home to make it livable for his young family.

I guess so that's why euphemisms are used instead of the actual word like passed away instead of died, pleasingly plump or thick instead of fat. You keep your culture and leave other people's culture alone.

Unfortunately, this channel is famous for not showing a completed project. It’s one of my major complaints about it. I still like to watch what has been done; but a completed project would be nice. I also didn’t like the personal description of the gentleman. That was uncalled for.

Appreciating the amount of hard work..Instead of spending somuch energy in destroying the old compound wall and constructing a new one,he would have spent more time in renovating the interior of the house..Cutting somuch of green trees also is painful..
