They should have left the climate controls as buttons! Everybody hates on-screen adjustment.
There are still buttons for the climate control under the vents
@@andrei-stefanpaduretu9853 those are not climate Control buttons and knobs, you can see it yourself in the wireless charging section
@@lauben6929 sorry, my mistake
@@andrei-stefanpaduretu9853 it's okay, I thought the same until i watched it closer, and you also can see on screen buttons for climate control, it's on the bottom of the display.
Less parts, more profitable.
Now we have to put up with screens everywhere, with no haptic feedback.
They should have left the HMI alone.
Now we have to navigate through menus to change settings, with slow animations.
I have a 2015 Focus ST, and I wish Ford didn't discontinue the Focus in the US. I would buy the ST in a heartbeat.
It's a ST-Line. It's not the same as a ST. It just looks sporty
The Active Wagon version is just perfect
Without physical climate controls, the MK3 Focus was the last focus i bought....
Focus MK4.1 has physical climate control buttons. (and also via display)
@@joostvandijk6901 Where? just look at 0:16 in the Video. It's only a volume knob and a power button.
@@konrad5203 this is only the video of the mk4.2 aka facelift 2022 model. The mk4.1 2019 model still has these physical buttons. I know because I have one. And there is a video from Ford Europe which compares the interior from both models.
@@joostvandijk6901 But my first comment was about the Car in the Video, the Mk4.2. I know about the mk4.1.
We need this in Souh Africa Please.
I wish we still had the focus in the US.
I wonder why it was discontinued here
@@Pokefan000000 low sales, Bad Quality reputation, americans never had interest for the american small cars the last years.
Really wish we could get the wagon version in the US. I know that ain't happening though. 😢
Why does America get all the shitty boring vehicles?
@@aleddavies770 because that's all consumers will buy.
I believe at the core of it is a mix of bad roads (making people want big SUVs) and advertising for large vehicles.
I wish we could get The Focus Period! But Fords Selling Out…
@@MandusahRamirez I wouldn't call it "selling out".
I'd call it following the trends/money.
As much as I don't like the idea, they're doing what they need to stay afloat in this market.
@@GKMess42 I must admit, me as European I envy you Americans, you have dozens of stylish gasoline-powered automatic sedans, while we Europeans have ugly looking loud rattling wagons with manual transmissions, honestly I am fed up with our boring market, I could not find Focus sedan while there are plenty of wagons which I would never buy, you even have Fiesta sedan which my countrymen didn't believe it exist, my personal believe is your cars are way better in all aspects except two things: Your engines are thirsty and you use imperial measurement (+ red turning signals for real?)...
Cant wait for the ST. But... FORD!! PLS MAKE A RS. Other manufacturers have managed to get around the emissions target in their large engines why can't ford do the same.
It's because other manufacturers have linked/grouped with fully electric companies to bring there total CO2 average down.
And because ford don't make/sell enough electric vehicles.
@@astontapper8543 that actually makes a lot of sense to me now. Maybe ford needs to do the same?
Ford doesn’t care about you or me. They do their thing
It is about the total production of Ford, in this case , Ford will need to let go of other Ford model by minimizing it’s engine and emission.
The ST has been released, no diesel option and still runs the same petrol engine as the Mk4
the new ford focus design is so agressive/aggresive and i liked it
ST line looks really cool with the logo put into the grille. It is still a tough buy since Leon, Astra, and 308 look cool as well. It all comes to pricing and trim levels.
I think the touch screen is only a distraction for the driver!!!
Nice Seat Leon you got there Ford😂
i was thinking the same, at least for the front, i liked the pre-facelift design a lot! this looks a bit less attractive (at least for now).
This should be sold in North America.
the king has return
Im liking the restyle,Its a nice car indeed.
I love the interior so much.
Looks much much better than 2022 Fiesta
Well done Ford. 13.2 inch screen, the gear lever is back rather than the rotary knob
The screen looks out of place, like a laptop balanced on the dash as an afterthought. It does not sit well into the dashboard and looks silly. As does the return of the grandad gear shifter. I hope it was a shot of a manual gear lever, the rotary selector for the auto was much more modern than that dated looking thing taking up extra space in the cabin. Maybe it’s a sign that Ford is dated now and appealing to the older demographic!
@@Sto79Be you may be right,, but you look at the top quality in cars industry, Benz Hatchback, they are also using that sort of last minute plugged screen. If they move the screen down ,, then they will let down there idea behind raising the screen up to less driver interruption by looking down. Regarding the gear lever, it’s controversial,, BMW use it there Series 1 hatchback. Anyways, it appears that this lever is only in focus lower end models. But the ST has a rotary knob.
Cudowny. Ford najlepsze samochody świata. 🇵🇱🐕
No more rotary auto shift? 😔
can't see if the rear indicators and reverse lights are LEDs as well?
That wonders me as well
Reverse was LED already. Indicator still bulbs.
Hello, any idea of when it will be possible to try the new Fiesta in concession?
Just ordered ST line Vignale
It is starting to look like a crossover. I wonder how they look next to a MK3. I would love to upgrade my 13 ST to a new wagon one day
USA?
Unfortunately no. Ford has lost me as a customer to VW and their GTI
I'm suprised that they went with the "traditional" gear selector for the automatic version, instead of the usual Ford circle.
The traditional gear selector is for the automatic petrol mhev. The a8 diesel has the circle
just thinking the same, all the MK4 autos and other Fords, were using the 8 speed TC box & rotary dial, and the ST using the 7 speed box with rotary dial. why the switch back to older style gear selector -- hope its not back to old poor performance PowerShift. Interior and digital screens, finally bring Ford level with competitors, pity the engines are still so under-powered for the Focus size/weight, bring back the 1.5 Ecoboost. 🚗
What happened with the rotary gear selector ?!! It was really cool and stylish .
Yeah it was really great.
This one looks like it's huge
That interior in this face-lift it's better that the original version., because of the tablet on the center of the console, the face-lift on fiesta that not have seen Stirred.
Looks great! Really digging the big Sync4 screen and the new design
Please bring it back to Canada....
I see gear selector has been changed. (Which I'm really not a fan of it.) Does it comes with a new transmission too? I hope it does. Current A8 is way too slow.
A8 with rotary dial is matched with diesel engines. For gas engines, shift knob is not rotary in the current model. In new focus, diesel may not be available.
@@obkusta i have an 1.5 petrol 150hp Clipper ST-Line X with A8 and transmission response like my grandma.
I hope that the LED lightunits are waterproof and not as leaky as on my NEW Kuga, which Ford can’t solve!!
Rotary gear selector for auto gone?
When it will be available in Poland? Focus is no longer in configurator for some time.
How about bring st products back to USA.
Still the ST needs to look a lot more aggressive.. and need to be much differentiated from the ST line. Not justified to pay extra 20k for a couple of seconds faster…. The look and finishing of ST need to be special and rewarding.
100% agree on this, I have the 2021 facelift st-line and apart from the exhausts not being split and different rims and being a little slower, it's not all that different.. yet the price difference is enormous. Also you can't get that bomb orange color unfortunately hehe
@@bartp7969 As a focus owner, i wished that they raised the bar for the ST .. now for my next car, I am always comparing the ST with the Stinger GT , has you driven the GT,, which one you choose ?
@@bob6168able I love my ford but I would pick the Stinger GT. For a hot hatchback I would pick the focus ST though :)
Wow looks very good
So you made the old Kuga look like the Focus then updated the Focus to look like the old Kuga?
UWC Digital Car Key For Ignition & Door Lock ?
Nice car!
How about sedan ?
Apart from the big display Screen nothing changed
Bago model 2022
Whats the use of this after shutting down production in Brazil and India
It's for Europe
Nice kia
Hyundai Focus
Expected it to be something more mature, like Mondeo
to be fair, Hyundai copied the Focus MK3 first for the i30 MK2 facelifts 😉
Pls launch in India🇮🇳
...no és mikor lesz végre magyar nyelv?! 🤔
Jogos.
It Lovely :-) :-)
Looks like the s40 mk2 Facelift
Me mandan uno de regalo para Argentina?
I'm still waiting for the new Focus RS
there will be no MK4 RS, due to emission regulations that Ford can't meet (and other costs). Odd that VW can still meets the regs with the Golf R though.......but then it sells a lot of affordable EV's to compensate, we can't all afford a Mach-E.
Seriously, can i just get a mkIV RS in the US please? 😭
Nice but Fords kinetic design and new edge design language have been more striking and successful. This looks too generic. Nothing new here.
I get the feeling the interior trim change is a precursor to using the vW meb platform from the Id range which Ford partnered on recently for an unnamed eu model alas I don’t think it will be the c-max
Bring it to the America's, I have no desire to buy any of your current models you have over here.
Thinking about getting the ST estate in green, wasn't a fan of the pre-facelift, but now it looks much better in the front. No more goofy looking fish face.
Mk3.5 was the best looking imo. But lacked many toys that were available on the titanium x.
@@YN-io6kj yeah I currently have a 2017 ST estate, while I love the looks, sadly the interior is starting to feel it's age and there's a lot of random rattling and creaking noises.
@@cy9nvs i had a 2016 ST3 Grey which sadly got stolen:(. Going to purcahse the exact same car again bit trying to find one with a sunroof. Flipping love these cars.
Not feeling the blue oval right in the center of the grill (for the ST version). Also not feeling any volume knob in the infotainment area. Never going to feel it since I live in the US.
You can see the volume knob at 2:53, it’s on the passenger side in the lower part of the dashboard
@@sawdust1287 Good catch. I would have never thought they would put the volume knob a foot away (or 34cm) from the screen. They haven’t gone full Volkswagen yet.
physichal climate controls out, the big feature for the new restilyng :( :(
I HATE THAT FORD USA DISCONTINUED THE FORD FOCUS LINE IN 2018 SO MUCH 😭😭😭😭😭😭
Oh, so they decided to give it a nose job, Awww was the last one ugly?
MK4 looks better.
Old front design is much better on ST LINE
There is a hybrid version as stated = should have exceptional fuel economy. USA Ford cars a pretty much garbage now except for the Mustang. =We need this car and especially the wagon in the US. Fuel prices are going higher.
It is me or its look like Hyundai i30?
L
Still laggy....what a shame.
Ford South Africa 😭 please
PowerShift? Are you serious? The same infamous problem robot in 2022? Sadly...
I want to Buy The Focus ST so Bad! PLEASE GIVE 🇺🇸 THE FOCUS BACK!! ALL OF US DONT LIKE CUVS!
It's a Subaru
But cooler 🐸
I'm so disappointed in Ford that they are producing these slow ST's. It's now slower than the I30 and GTI but they did not go wrong with the RS
Shouldn't ford sort out their chip shortage problem instead of branding new cars ??
The redesigned front looks better. The infotainment screen looks over sized and silly, like someone has just balanced a large laptop screen on top of the dash,, it doesn’t gel as part of the car. And Ford have fallen foul to the ridiculous trend of removing the physical climate controls. Are Ford tone deaf to all the negative comments from car reviewers and customers about this practice on other cars? Putting climate controls into the touchscreen makes it more difficult to use on the go. The irony that they left a physical volume knob in the center when there would already be a physical volume control on the steering wheel is daft, they could have removed the second volume control and kept some physical climate buttons. Also, Ford have done what they did on the new Fiesta facelift, updated and modernised the front but forgot about the rear of the car. The Focus estate in particular suffers from looking fresh at the front but a bit dated at the back, like two cars stick together where the design language doesn’t gel. My first impression on seeing a front shot was good, but now I’ve seen the interior and rear I will be heading away from 23 years of owning Fords to something else.
Bring this back to the US, you cowards.
Looks like an Audi 🙁
A focus with an automatic transmission…. Blasphemous!!!!
too bad that you're pausing the production for this to focus on Puma, too bad.
2025
@@doffy2192 yes, they vanished focus and it's not nice
Intérieur good👏👏 and ford 🤮🤢👎👎👎👎👎👎
American Cars, no, thank you
What a barrage of unbearable marketing waffle.

Too big grill in the front, as ugly as bmw and audi. EV’s don’t have grills, so this new facelift already look oldfashion :-(
