Hi Dan, onya mate. I have a 1999 petrol Prado, best car ever made! Simple and reliable. Keep yours as long as you can! Cheers
I’d keep the dingo for the next few years , those motors are super reliable and you should get over 600k if it’s serviced regularly. Can’t help you with a cargo barrier but I bought a steering wheel cover from Aldi 4 or 5 years ago and it’s still going strong.
Hai Dan... Salam from Borneo... i had a 97 Prado before .. very reliable and fun driving off-road.... i like your humble video.... keep it up....
Great video dan! We had a 2001 V6 Prado. Had to part ways at 400k!
the dash board also classis weak point..making noise
Awesome! We're a family with 2 young boys and this is just the video we needed to see. Love how you've kitted out the car!
Hi Dan, I have a 2002 90 series Prado. I recently bought a steering wheel cover from Repco for $36. It fits snuggly (with effort). It's made of genuine leather and doesn't smell too bad like the ones from Supercheap Auto. I thought I just add this info here in case you're still looking for a cover.
You should use all 6 tires in rotation now to extend their longevity.
Thanks Dan. My first car is a 97 prado that I'm super keen to go touring with
The Grey Dingo has served us well. Reckon it's worth holding onto for more extended trips? Any advice on finding a cargo barrier or quality steering wheel cover ?
Dan
