the flatline recolor was such a good idea from respawn as we all love the flatline skin even if we have challenges for it that's okay with most of us because at the end of the day its free

@@fdfgaming9076I can gift I’m 2/6 with gifting. I think it’s just you can only gift every 2 weeks bc that’s when the gifts refresh. You can’t gift the same thing twice.

I think the universal heirlooms allow those without their own heirlooms to still be visually appealing while we wait for them.. or maybe they are better then the current heirloom.. it’s my own opinion that the buster blade is by far the coolest heirloom other than Valks and revs.

It’s not only not free, its twice the price of the rest of the heirlooms at $270 compared to the usual $135 for an event reward heirloom
having customisation styles unlock for it from ranked woule be cool
O I think they make the rest more vaulted, diluting the apex packs even more , unless they make some changes to heirloom in general
Update: Artifact dagger was in fact, not free.
I feel like the design definitely has something to do with Horizon. The core and the blade look like a blackhole and the blade looks like the light bending around it. I think this would be so sick

What irks me even more is that in this trailer there is still an SMG that has the digi threat but the other SMGs don't. And then when you play the game you can't even put the digit threat on the SMGs no more especially the alternator

I hope it'll be obtainable through mixtape if you get it from challenges, I don't play BR these days and I was dissapointed to find out that you can only get the flatline recolor if you do finishers and stuff that you can only do in BR
i felt the same, and after playing straight shot i have warmed up to it some more. i would reccommend giving that new mode a go because it really is great

On the positive: They finally udnerstand that accessibility to certain stuff like heirlooms, skins etc. via challenges is far better since not that many people will spend 150 bucks for one or even multiple heirlooms for a single character that then gets picked from another player. Challenges help having people motivated to play and come back. They feel rewarded for getting stuff, the cooler the stuff the longer they are willing to use their time on the game. If you implement other cool stuff on the sides that you can get for money to customize your character, people are more willing to buy stuff for 5-10 bucks when they are already having fun/playing the game a lot. On the negative: More cashgrab strategies implemented by EA. Games like fortnite worked way better, they had skins to pay for which cost less and were so much better, checking the store for new stuff was exciting, on Apex nobody cares for recoloor 283 of a skin that costs 10-15 bucks. Like seriously. For 15 bucks you could at least expect cool/animated skins in other games. Since this game is F2P this should be how they make their money imo!
Respawn just refuses to give Maggie her heirloom
I can live with the customization being payed for as long as it's not pay to win (or in the case of Apex, in a meaningful way because pay to win has always been in the game). As long as there is no Fomo(doubtful) and even if there is I can earn after with shards(likely) I'm cool with this and will be a net positive for Apex. Sucks it took them this long for them to do something that's actually genuinely good for consumers but better late then never.

It quite literally doesn’t, all you see when you sprint is the grip, and when you’re idle, the grip and a tiny bit of the blade, spreading misinformation bruh
@@whiterose2321It’s not just “the grip and a tiny bit of the blade” that covers the screen.
It fluctuates between completely blocking a 1/5 to 1/6 of the screen on the right side when running. The hands also block a considerable portion when running.
The motion of the sword between different movements also doesn’t help. Between running and crouch-sliding (something done frequently) the sword constantly sweeps up and down the screen.
It’s by no means “the end of the world” to use it, but it is a MUCH bigger risk in terms of losing peripheral vision and missing out on information in-game when compared to any other heirloom/no heirloom at all.
IMO, CS:GO does melee cosmetics the best as all the knifes in the game are kept extremely low on the screen to prevent blocking any important screen space.

HEY BOBZ I FOUND SOMETHING REALLY WEIRD IN THE APEX TRAILER when loba picks up an alternator from her black market the alternator has a golden X1 scope but now you can't add it on the smgs idk why I just wanted to share this with you.
