Grave of Edith Piaf, Père Lachaise Cemetery, Paris, France

NOTE: On the day I visited, a man had a tape recorder that was playing one of Piaf's songs. It was only by accident I picked up the sound in the background as I approached the grave. However, someone on CZcams reported this as a copyright violation and I had to erase the sound to continue publishing the video. This has gotten rather ridiculous with some other videos I've posted that picked up background music that is barely heard and the same thing happened. Sorry to those who would have liked to watch, and hear, this video as it was shot.

Mr. Woods what a lovely video, you captured the experience, the love, quiet reverence and respect those in attendance had for her. Thank you for posting this. I have chronic pain and don't think I will ever get to see this cemetery, this was the next best thing.
