Hi Dave, there are 2 new buttons you can program. With the iRacing spotter on text only, it'll tell you if the weather will hold or change, the other button will tell you if you got any kind of damage on your car! (it'll also comment on overtakes etc like any other spotter app)

Nice plug. Too bad I don't spend money in Quid. I use Bucks. Looked like a fun but frustrating race. The cars are evenly matched. The difference was in the damage.
I just noticed that the throttle seems a bit reluctant to go to 100% unless you press hard
maybe just a racelabs overlay thing, maybe calibration

hey dave. deciding between getting the rsr-21 wooden rig or a simlab p1x pro. is there noticable more flex in the rsr rig espiecially with triples mounted on it?
if it was your money would you get the rsr rig or spend an extra 250 and get the simlab?
your video has convinced me its finally time to learn my way around the ring.
It depends if you want to add anything later. The Simlab rig has more room and flexibility to add things. I wouldn't say it's more sturdy than the rsr 👍

Is that seat any good for lumbar support? My back hurts after 40 minutes in the LFM Nords 1H races and need a better seat.

Here it was about 3 laps. On a short circuit maybe 20 mins or so gets me up to speed

Hey Dave, are you still happy with the Asetek Forte Button Box and Rim? I just made the switch from Fanatec to Asetek (Forte Base and Forte Wheel Bundle) but i want a round wheel for Oval and Rally. So i'm thinking about buying the Forte Button Box and the 33cm Round Rim.

Does it make any difference in game if you have 350fps? I think even the fastest monitors are 240Hz? I have mine capped at 90fps since my screen (VR) can't do any faster.
My recordings are smoother when I uncap.
A smooth 60hz is perfectly fine for sim racing 👍
Wonder if you’ll stick with 4K tv or triples now you’re on an improved pc.
prob switch back to triples, Its just a better experience in my opinion.

Nah you didn't get damage. Driving up the back stretch behind Harold you had nearly the entire draft pack pulling him along as the range of draft is 2.2s.
looked like a typical GT7 race.. people constantly trying to bump each other off

That left to right uphill section where you got a slow down is my absolute least favorite sequence in all racetracks. Such an awkward right-hander and ruins the flow of the funnest part of the track. Decent damage limitation overall, though!
I have had the ABSOLUTE WORST TIME with this track. Stayed up ran 8 races from last night until this morning. Only one I've finished.

Idk why but this track has been terrible for me, strange cause km quite quick on it. Running 1:52s comfortably. This track felt intuitive. I domt get it. I've been holding onto the fact that no one's luck can be this bad so it has to turn soon I keep Re Queing and hoping that this will be the race but it just continues. LoL. Hand to God, I hvnt been at fault one time. Not one incident could I have done something differnt. So very discouraging.
It's like gambling. After a bad run it's always 'one more, this is the one to turn it around'. It never is 🤣

Slow downs in iracing are a joke most of the time. Shame you lost so many positions
P3 to p9 because of a slight off track where you literally lost time vs gaining any. Iracing is beyond ridiculous with these draconian penalties. I don't know how you guys tolerate this nonsense.
