Drietoma jazz -- traditionally untraditional | Nadšenci -- a folk dance group | TEDxTrencin

This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. Music, dance and singing. Traditions have played an important role in the Trenčín region for a long time. This folk music group full of young people proved in a dynamic and engaging way that there is no need to worry about its future.
Nadšenci is a folk music art group whose members have found the common ground in the love of traditions and folk arts. There are currently 33 members, whose main aim is to protect and maintain folk traditions, customs and traditional dances and songs from the region. Despite having started quite recently, they have managed many performances both in Slovakia and abroad.
