My approval with Lae'zel was fairly low, just enough so she doesn't leave the party, but when she started 'flirting' with me out of nowhere in this scene I was terrified lmao. Didn't know if she wanted to have sex or eat me.
That's part of the charm hahaha
I was so perturbed at first 😂 but then it actually made me like her just a bit more that I started to bring her into my team. Just gotta walk on eggshells with the approvals lol

Since I was instantly drawn to Lae'zel the moment I saw her, since her character is written in a way that I understood instantly, but didn't know how I understood (aside from her personality, which I also understood, but *did* know why)...
Until the first flirt interaction. Her talking about scent, sweat, and other stuff. I then realized... "oh fuck... she's into Primal Play. Now I understand."

The more I see Shadowheart's animations polished. the more I come to like her. She's much more visually readable now. Even I enjoy that she seems to be quite happy to have saved the Tieflings, rather than just being so dismissive or confused.
The companion changes are coming together quite well :)
She‘a got a lot more spirit to her, and it’s really charming.

The facial animations in this are pretty unreal. I've just got back into the game recently and they really impressed me
I feel some modern AAA games don't focus enough on making 3 dimensional characters. The ones in this game are fan-fucking-tastic.

Shadowheart isn't the envious or the jealous type, she makes that clear if you romance her. She seems pretty open to non-monogamous arrangements

But when watching a play-through, there usually isn't enough time, or the text is to small, to know what the player selected to say.

Thats kinda crazy, I had pretty much everyone after me, but my heart is on Karlach, she’s like a bundle of infernal wholesomeness.
Sad I’ll have to break her heart on an evil playthrough, with Minthara.
I started with Laezel, then refuse her because I wanted Shadowheart. After that only the men in the group wanted something with me, the girls not anymore...Sad

Because their main reason of hating each other is purely racism😂. Shadowheart being racist to githyanki and Lae’zel being your average githyanki. Once they proved each other wrong, they respect each other
Im kinda bummed that the sudden unavoidable duel with laezel seems to block simultaneous romance with shadowheart ... so far. Hopefully the game allows a dual romance with further earned approval.

How do you triggered the shared agreement with other companions?
In my playthrough I keep having halsin who wanted the agreement even though I never interacted with him
High approval will trigger proposals.
This one interaction is possible only at the camp party after saving tieflings and only with Shadowheart leading nowhere. Shart will share later in Act 3 with certain other characters, but break up with the rest or too soon. Some characters don't share at all, some will break up just for suggesting this, and Halsin always shares once you recruit him, the only time he turns down a threesome is exactly at this cam party.
I think he might just be really horny... and he doesnt want anything serious anyways.
But also if you do things like saving the grove and dispelling the shadow curse his approval gets pretty high automatically.

Shadowheart doesn't care if you sleep with others. Especially in Act 1, where you're all just means to a end to her.

Are there any negative consequences to leading everyone on on the night of the party? I said 'yes' to everyone and chose Gale because he just wanted to show me some magic. Despite having an Approval Rating of 100 from Shadowheart, she just greets me with, _"Lady of Sorrows! Did you need something?"_

A lot of these characters definitely seem like the "no strings attached" type. Lae'zel outright says she doesn't believe in love, only carnal pleasure, Astarion also doesn't seem the type to tie himself down to just one body, Shadowheart... is complicated and there may be a deeper romance there, but she'd likely be down for something casual too.
Didn't one of the devs say something about polyamory or polygamy? Maybe that was in regards to Githyanki mating habits. In any event, it's something they've apparently thought on.
@@JB-xl2jcAccording to some people. Polyamory is possible, but kinda of discouraged due some companions not feeling comfortable.
In this case, Sleeping with Shadowheart and Lae’zel will result in a giant conflict where regardless of how high you have their relationship, you cannot rekindle it.

But then at the camp she still wouldn't do anything.
Meanwhile Karlach hasn't had hear heart fixed, so couldn't take her.
And did Laz'el just few Sleeps ago, so I ended up sleeping alone at the Party despite having 3 ladies on ''Good'' approval

@@TvojaMamaAAAshes such a prude. I literally have saved scummed to the earth for her and have her at near max approval, all for a drink out at the night. (you can do this even without the party after defending the grove). Im not sure what happens if I have her and laezel at both near max at act1.
Its almost possible by save scumming and moving them far aways to prevent disapproves.
@@jakkankShadowheart progress only in the beginning of Act 3 after you resolve her personal quest (and Act 2 simultaneously) one way or another. Until then only kissing and holding hands.

I think the way they implimented the romance content was terrible. I also think it was a waste of time, money, and effort that could have been used making other parts of the game better.

Both are great characters in their own way. I personally find lae‘zel gigatoxic, but her character depth is great, while shadowheart acts and talks all slutty sometimes, then plays hard to get, but she is a very likeable person and seems like someone you can fully trust

I'm with both of them after the release of the game. It's interesting. They fight and get on.
If you want to spend the night with Shadowheart then sleep with Lae'zel before the wine drinking. Just don't rush the druid quests. Only at the end of the game does the player get to convince Lae'zel to remain. This game has done poly in a way where things are implied without having to be stated outright and it works well here.
You can have some one night sex with Lae'zel first and then get engaged with Shadowheart. But if Lae'zel got you for a breeding fight it's either Lae'zel only or not. Lae'zel don't share, and don't forgive. Shadowheart shares but not with Lae'zel and breaks with your, with no hard feelings but still breaks if it's Lae'zel.
How and why are you all wearing the same armor?
