RM's iq is no joke! He would've been successful in any field. No wonder his mom was so opposed to him doing music. His lyricism and song writing ability is also unparalleled. He has written poetry since he was a kid
RM was a child who was destined to be a CIVIL SERVANT coz of his brain but thank goodness he followed his passion otherwise millions of ppl wouldn't have found such a generous personality to look forward to in their lives
You can credit RM with being one of the main driving forces behind their success as a group. A leader with less intelligence, emotional & social awareness and song writing ability may not have seen the them reach the heights they have. Never underestimate the importance of a smart and switched on leader, not only in a Kpop group but just in life in general.
2:55 Jin and Jimin are top students. They are brilliant academically speaking. BTS are smart on so many levels.
Suga has only love for producing and song writing but his random knowledge is amazingly massive and impressive.

the way we can best experience his intelligence is from his lyrics, like, i can't explain just how good he is at writing and composing songs.... my favorite will always be Trivia: Love, when i listen to it it sounds so nice, but when i read it i can't not feel like this is the most romantic shit someone wrote into a song. I can't wait till he gets married and writes his vows or how he will show his love to his partner (if he ever shows that to the public)

We have different measurement systems from the rest of the world, because after the Revolutionary War, when America got its freedom, they didn't want anything to do with Britain, which had the metric system in place. So, basically, the US was being petty and we wanted to be as different from Britain as we could. However, because Britain invaded and conquered so many other lands, countries started adopting their measurement system, and it started spreading to other countries as well. The reason we haven't changed it is because it costs time and money that we don't have to change everything. Also, many Americans want to remain as "leaders" rather than "followers", and keep their own system, although the metric system has been proven to make way more sense. This is also why in US science classes, we use the metric system anyways. Also why rulers, yard sticks and meter sticks have cm and mm on them...
Yes, Namjoon reads a ton and he loves philosophy books that make you think. He carries books with them he also loves nature and riding bikes.

Well Namjoon and Jimin perform recently in Sowoozo Chicken Noodle soup and as a Native Spanish speaker Namjoon killed it! His pronunciation and everything was literally perfect everyone was surprised for that. Also when he goes in tour to other countries he and Hobi usually speak the phrases they learnt before the concert really well. I've seen a lot of comments praising them on twitter

I would say he knows a little of other languages, just not fluent. And yes he does read a lot and some of the music are inspired by stuff he reads. There’s videos of him reading a book while his hair and makeup are being done or just waiting for their turn to perform.
Its the end of June ( three months after this video ) and I can now say that I have heard RM Speaking/Rapping in Spanish ... BTS 8th B-day Concert Soowoozoo was crazy/Amazing.

When it comes to the metric and imperial systems.... well in the UK we use both though it can depend on the persons age. Most people do just use metric though sorry.

he uses a lot of english words when he speaks japanese. its honestly amazing. i live in japan but its hard for me to speak japanese cause i’m a perfectionist. i tend to avoid using english words and tries to speak pure japanese.

Just wanna say welcome. I've watched all your reactions so far and you're funny af. I aint gotta tell you to just be yourself but do take your time- especially with their music- the messages, their voices, even how they compose and arrange their music is brilliant. Excited Army will have you have you all over the place lol. So learn who they are first and what they went through to get a better understanding why ARMY is so passionate about them. Becauas of the way the kpop industry is set up they weren't supposed to become successful at all. They gained their success abroad first which is very unusual. Anyway- enjoy the ride dear it's been 5 years for me and I can honestly say I'm still processing some of their albums from a few years ago. They've definitely helped me in so many way. 💜
I know this is a late comment but whenever BTS goes to another country, RM would read everything about that place .. all the do's and don't and cultures, etc. .. so just imagine them going on tours for how many countries .. the staff would provide some info. then RM would sit and study them all .. whew !

Lol! I had a whole rant of the American imperial system a couple months ago. I do interior design and all the construction materials are in frigging imperial because we in Canada get the supplies from US but everything else up here is metric. Drives me nuts. So I have to know both....thats brain power that could be used elsewhere.
Also you don't have metric because of money. Too expensive for your govt to switch for the educational system and transportation systems (the signs on roads) never mind switching for all the commercial use. Very expensive now then if they did back in the 70's when it first started coming around the rest of the world, it would have probably been doable then.
