All members including Namjoon have said V is a genius at one point.
They're both smart but in different ways:
RM - intellectual genius
V - creative genius
RM is smart in a traditional way, while Taehyung is unique & always thinks outside the box.

I have to disagree, I think Namjoon's intelligence goes beyond academics, he is very intelligent when it comes to producing, writing lyrics and creating rhymes in songs, he has shown musical intelligence, naturalistic intelligence, intrapersonal intelligence, among others. The same thing happens with tae, he has interpersonal intelligence and is also intelligent in an academic way

I mean come on we can all agree that tae is very very unique to the point where he got the unfortunate name of being called an alien.

When you live with family long enough, you can pick up their mannerisms and tell when there's something different about them. Living with a huge family, I completely got what he was saying.

I love Tae’s way of thinking
I would say Tae and Joon's "intelligence" is different. Joon is like the deep thinker and kinda like textbook knowledge with great iq while I would say Tae is more street-smart. That plus him being social butterfly is great combo. He also has great emotional control where he is able act in a certain way an make people believe him(run bts eps)
Also he is very competitive in games and has good mind-eye control and reflex control(the james cordan Flinch challege he didn't even blink!)

BTW, Taehyung explaining that at the end is why BTS and ARMY's official color is purple, and why we use the term "BORAHAE" (a mix between the Korean word for "purple" and "love [saranghae]"). This is why if an ARMY tells you "BORAHAE" it means they love you. No other fandom can use this word. It's an exclusive word made by Taehyung for BTS and ARMYs.
borahae isn't just another word for 'i love you'.. he said it means we'll love and trust each other for a long time, until the end. so if a newer army asks you what it means tell them the actual meaning instead so more people can understand why it's so meaningful
@AYESHA ISMAIL no they said "it means I love you" which it doesn't. I've seen many people just translating borahae to i love you and it's super misleading and takes away the meaning

Yes...Kim Taehyung is a genius!!! He is so smart and his intelligence is a another level ...memory, social and criative mode.
and there are far more situations that weren't in this video that prove how intelligent he truly is but in his own way, although it's not only about his creativity and unique perspective, which is undeniable, that man is also really observant and full of knowledge and interesting thoughts, that's why it is extremely entertaining to listen to him, he is very unpredictable and such an interesting person to me, but i agree that he and joon are smart in different ways, there is no need to compare them
i dont fell like tae is smarter than joon but i believe he’s a pretty deep thinker, he doesn’t show it much but you can tell by the way he expresses himself and talks about things casually, korean translators also say his lyrics are some of the most difficult to translate cause he uses word in a very clever way
@@winslow924 well, i believe that in some aspects he is even smarter but again it's not the traditional view of intelligence but i agree with you about the way he expresses himself, i've read some korean speaking fans also saying that and that the way he constructs his sentences or makes up new words is really smart, it's a bit frustrating that some i-fans think his taetae language means he has trouble expressing himself, when in fact it means the opposite

If taehyung started a business, im sure he will be very successful because his mind is so unique and his ideas are always new and refreshing. His creations are always best sellers too. Example, Tata. Everyone said Tata wont be popular but turns out Tata is THE most popular and even became the face of BT21. And also he gave a whole new meaning to the colour purple and its being used everywhere nowadays. It even became the fandom colour and the slogan. Love this man and his sexy brain.

From the first time I saw Tae in BTS MV I knew he was special, just watching his face I could tell that, he has a very sharp look his eyes are big but long he doesn't look like usual person but as in animations. I always tend to believe he keep some secret for himself I mean he looks very misterious when he is serious.
Tae is creative, street smart while namjoon is book smart I would say
namjoon is very smart about accurate things like things u learn in school but tae and jin are very smart in a more creative way. since both of them knows how to act, they think things in a unique way that's why they are so good with cunning the other members

All the bts members are smart tbh each of them are smart in their own way for example V is very creative his imagination is rrly wild and his good at acting aswell, while rm is smart in mind problems and equations and he's a very poetic guy as you can see in the bts lyrics all of the words has deep meaning in it same as suga, jimin and jungkook is competitive and are smart when creating strategies for the run bts games, and jin is rrly witty he acts so well and mostly wins the run bts games, he's rrly cheeky

Tae is a genius in a way
Intellectuals like Taehyung are the innovators, being able to see and imagine the world beyond the confines of conventional knowledge and traditions. His career is perfect for him as it allows him to exercises his intellect and express himself in so many different ways. He's a perfect compliment to Namjoon, and that is reflected in their unique friendship. He has made many important contributions not just to the music of BTS but to the culture of BTS x ARMY, borahae/I purple you being just one.

We can say that namjoon is a book smart and taehyung is a street smart. He maybe not know much about academic things but he's wise. But all of BTS members are smart, i envy them lol.

I think when it comes to bts, one good thing about Tae is how calm and observant he can be. He knows the others all so well and his intuition is always on the right tracks.
He's also very creative and thinks outside the box in more ways than one. He's really good at cheating whenever they play games but even if they catch him, they'll let him off because he's so cute.
I feel like his creative mind automatically gives him ideas most people wouldn't have. His way of thinking is really innovative. Meanwhile, people like Namu get inspired by the most random things at the most random times. However, he would probably think it over multiple times before making a decision (he's really good academically and has genius problem-solving skills) while Tae seems more spontaneous and "in the moment" (if that makes sense 😅)
One more thing, he has great control over his mind and body. His facial expressions are always on point, his posture, the way he moves his fingers, the way he dances, the way he speaks, it's like he's always telling a special story just for ARMY, or like he know something none of us do. That makes him a great actor.
Lastly, he's in touch with his emotions and other people's. He always knows when it's okay to push a little and when to stop, how to treat the other members, how to treat ARMY, how to treat himself. His love is very precious 💜

Yeah, I think the word people are looking for and failing to find is 'clever'. Tae is super duper clever and I adore that about him. Reducing NJ to 'oh he's just academically smart but Tae is creatively smart in comparison' is kind of silly. Can anyone please tell me that why people try to put RM down? Everyone's mind functions differently, it depends on where or how they use it, it also depends on people's interest. I'm sure V would've been a detective or an actor or a sketch artist if not an idol whereas Namjoon oppa is intelligent, wise and knowledgeable. He definitely would've been a scientist or a doctor.

Also he scolded Jiminie for playing safe while taking part in an entertainment program as run bts,that made me realize why he looks so extra on camera(not that he is the opposite ,but he adds..more sparkles)!!!Smart and professional persona to the core!

For some reason I kinda saw what taehyung said for purple and the rainbow but on the other hand it could be my way of thinking it. Since he said purple is on the bottom of the rainbow and that purple mean something with trust and love, the purple is basically holding all the other rainbow colors, so all the colors have trust in the purple and for love the purple loves them enough to hold them that’s my way in thinking it but idk😂

They are so well-researched and non biased. He does the work that so many western reporters don’t when researching and explaining BTS and Kpop. He encapsulates so well how truly phenomenal BTS is in the Kpop industry, the pop industry, and the music industry as a whole. It helps that with how well he does his research, he shows so much respect for eastern concepts and their impact on the western world. It’s beautiful. One of the best Kpop/BTS videos I have ever seen.

As someone with huge eyes who has been picked on for said growing up, I really want a meme of him saying "My eyes aren't big for no reason" because I too have noticed a ridiculous amount of shit over the years (less likely due to my eyes and more likely due to being someone who tends to listen before she speaks, not due to any degree of intelligence just because I was told to do that so often growing up that it became a habit).
