Retrofitting refers to the addition of new technology or features to older systems. These days there are a lot of people who put a simple plug & play xenon kit in their halogen headlight housing in an attempt to improve night vision and looks of their vehicle. In fact they don’t realize that their headlight beams are often worse than before. Night vision achieves relatively little improvement on night vision because of a poor beam pattern, which increases the blinding of other road users. This is because their headlight housings are designed for halogen and not xenon.
A true Bi-Xenon projector update is now possible for your car. Such an upgrade will significantly improve your light output from 700-2100 lumens to 2800 and 3500 lumens, without blinding other traffic with glare from your headlight. Upgrade your headlight OEM style!
The latest high power Led bulbs will upgrade both the exterior and interior lighting system of your car. Led lighting is becoming more and more popular in the automotive market for obvious reasons. They have longer lifetime, use less energy and improve safety with their fast response time.

Firstly, I would like to congratulate them for the excellent work performed to perfection.
I would also suggest them to show in their videos how each flashlight works at the end of all the work.
Unfortunately we do not have such work performed with such perfection and quality here in Brazil, not that I demean my country, but here we have very serious problems with regard to skilled labor.
When we find someone who is minimally qualified and able to perform certain services, they charge exorbitant amounts.
I love it! This makes the retrofit I'm doing to the lights on my 2011 XC70 T6 with mini D2S projectors look hard, which it really has been. Trimming the shrouds and aligning the projectors is not so fun.

The best way is to keep reheating it constantly and scraping it with a flat screwdriver. Patience is required as well.

Hello great job question tho .. I have a s60 2014 non Hid . Now if I do this retrofit and install H.I.D will the car give me a error code ? And will the HID work with out burning the car electronics ??? Thanks
When you are removing material with the dremel, what exactly are you removing? Are these raised portions or are you enlarging the opening?

Which led bulb did you install to the turn signal socket? Is there hyperflash with led bulb there?

How long was the heating fan running and how high was the temperature?
In general, 2 methods are used, with both methods, be careful and patient. Method 1 is using a regular oven. Preheat the oven at 200 degrees Celsius. When ready, switch off the oven and place the headlight inside. Make sure that the headlight is not touching any metal of the oven by placing a cloth over the grid, for example. Leave the headlight in the oven for 10-15 minutes before opening it. If the headlight kit is not yet soft enough, put the headlight in the oven for a bit more time.
Method 2 (this one) is suitable for larger headlights that do not fit in a regular oven, or if your lovely wife absolutely does not allow car parts to be baked in her kitchen. A large cardboard box is used where hot air is blown through a heatgun. Make sure that the hot air of the heatgun does not blow directly to the headlight, place the headlight on small elevations so that the air can circulate properly through the box. We use a setting of 300 Degrees Celsius for 12-18 minutes / 1st lowest setting, depending on the size of the headlight.

I mean how hot do you set the heatgun when putting it in The box.
i made a wooden box (similar to yours), and set the heat to 330celcius for 15min. but it wouldnt come loose at all :(
***** at last i manage to separate them :D the glue on the volvo xenon houses from 2007 seems alot harder than any housing you have video on.
how long do you bake the lights with the heatgun?
8 to 10 minutes at 220 degrees F
