Hi, Unfortunately we do not sell complete headlight assemblies. The headlight in the video was from a customer and was only used to make a video out of it.

For the whitest look I would recommend the CBN. They are 6200K. See link below. retrofitlab.com/products/osram-d2s-cool-blue-intense-next-gen-66240cbn-hcb-duo-box-hid-xenon-bulbs?_pos=9&_sid=df80b7a6c&_ss=r If you go for the CBB they are 7000K, but they lean more towards a blue light already.

@@Mo-ij8re At 7000K it will lean more towards a blue light instead of white. If you want the whitest look possible I would recommend the 6000K color.

The best way is to keep reheating it constantly and scraping it with a flat screwdriver. Patience is required as well.

Yes, That is correct. For optimal heating you could choose to elevate the headlight as well so heat can go underneath and around. Make sure you face the glass of the headlight away from the direct heat of the heatgun.

This is the solenoid cable. It activates the solenoid inside the BI-Xenon projector which, then activates the high beam. We have no experience changing the AFS assembly from one headlight to the other unfortunately.

@@Retrofitlab probably my car also have solenoid mechanism but doesn't have high beam function in D2S. Instead there is a high beam from H7 halogen lamp. So a simple reflector/projector with d2s socket would also work for my car? Probably the lights wont adjust when turning on, they'll have a fixed position

Same problem for me... No DRL et rear brake... Can t connect the white.

I just installed them 3 days ago (a pain in the ass to be honest since I had a tail tidy), mine came with some T connectors to pick the signal from the brake light plug (still trying to figure how to do it, I only got the turn signals working for now) and DRLs plug (I'll redo the cables since I have a delay of 1-2sec to them to light up). Hope it helps

@Retrofitlab these headlights only fit the 2003, to 2007 model until they facelifted it in 2007 when it uses a different headlamp. That's all :)

Sorry, we are not up-do-date on all rules and regulations in every country, so can't say for 100%. For what we know about the UK, when it is a halogen headlight, it isn't allowed to change the light source. So an "H" headlight can't have HID or LED bulbs. So although projectors have a very good light pattern instead of xenon bulbs in a halogen housing that give stray light, chances are it is not allowed. Your best option is to inform with an MOT mechanic for example.

You could mount the projectors from the video, and with some adjustments you can install a H7 bulb in the D2S projector. Contact us if you want to place such a custom order.

In the test we are using D1/D2 bulbs. CBN indeed are not 6200K, they are around 4300K like OEM xenon. Or are you referring to CBB?

Normally you need to make a connection from the inside of the housing to the outside for the starter/ballast. So it is needed to make a hole, but installed correctly, the rubber seal is enough to make a good seal.

Once I get the idea in my head I would make it manage to look original I've done similar things in the past as well as stripping cloth heated Passat Estate seats & putting the heating pads inside the non heated leather seats I don't like doing 2nd best

Although the centric ring fits very tight around the lens holder, in time with vibrations, there is a small chance that it loosens and falls off. So a tiny bit of adhesive is a good way to prevent it.
