YES DEFINITELY THE BEST MATCH FISHING VIDEOS ON CZcams. ANTON
From watching your vids I can see the importance of drawing a good to reasonable peg. A great angler like yourself can winkle out the better bonus fish on an average peg. When you draw a peg like that one and you know it’s going to be hard you still gave it your all and great information as you carried on. Good luck on the next qualifier and YES please continue with the live matches.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
👍👍👍👍👍
Oh thanks Brian and thanks for the great feed back!
Keep up the good work. Matches that you record as it happens, are a great deal better than a pre-match talk followed by the weigh-in with nothing between them. This way we learn more and we get a much better idea of the flow of the match, what you do during the match and why.
Thanks for this upload Jamie, this is a local feeder fishing water for me…. Great video.
Unlucky mate. Kinda missed the live match videos, glad that you uploaded one again, and hopefully, more to come.
Thanks Andy plenty more to come mate ;)
@@CatchFishingChannel good stuff mate. Been watching a lot of your live matches recently, whilst being laid up with my back problems. Back out tomorrow doing a simple article, not requiring too much gear lol. Ordered a hero 10 today, looking forward to seeing the differences.
Fished “The Dam” many times many years ago. Loved the video Jamie, thank you for bringing back some great memories. I have fished that peg too, crucians and tench on caster was the order of the day many moons ago. Watch loads of your videos, and you have definitely made me a better angler. Thanks again and more of the same please 👍🏻🎣
Good to see you back doing live match videos, keep it up please mate 👍, unlucky on the day, classic case of luck of the draw, tight lines 🎣👍
Brilliant to watch , you can only catch the fish that are in front of you and if theyre not there ... still great to hear what goes through your head and what is behind the decisions you make , look forward to the next one
Cracking film Jamie.hard luck mate, you can't catch em if there not there.
Thanks Terry!
Great video! Not sure what more you could have done, venues are funny things.
I enjoy watching your live matches
more live matches the better Jamie, thanks for this and all the other videos you produce.
I dont match fish and I dont live in Britain either BUT I really enjoy watching your videos as you go through your thought processes, the changes you will make, why you make them and what you hope to achieve. The hope is that I can use your tips rather than sit there and hope. It still amazes me that quite a small change can sometimes bring about a massive difference in catch rate.
as always jamie excellent video on a tough venue.
Keep going, what a professional 👏
Really pleased to see you match fishing and more films please. Would have liked to see what weight you had. Draw well next time.
Great video Jamie , more vids please , just need to polish up your drawing techniques 👍🤣
Hahaha thanks Neil ;)
Love watching the videos Jamie ,please keep them up ,learning loads . No one can call you a draw bag that's for sure !!!
Haha thanks Peter and thanks for the feed back ;)
Missed the live matches, love my feeder fishing. Keep up the good work mate.

Nice one thanks Jack mate!
Hi Jamie love all your videos , just great to see your thinking and tactics on match’s . Like you say local knowledge and a good draw . Keep them coming certainly helping me catch more.
Great information jamie.bad luck with draw.
I thoroughly enjoy all your live matches Jamie :). A hard days fishing but you didn't throw in the towel you gave it your all from start to finish. Good luck for the next one look forward to another live match :)
Thanks Michael there are plenty more coming mate ;)
@@CatchFishingChannel I'm looking forward to them already ;). Is there any chance you could you do a small video on how to perfect the under arm cast as I always seem to release the line too early and it spill all my bait under the rod tip :( .Thanks
Thoroughly enjoyed watching. Keep on filming live matches and good luck in the next qualifying match.
Nice one thank you!
You never give up you keep trying right until the very end
That's it Raymond especially when it's tough going! Haha
Proper venue. Nice video mate.
Unlucky Jamie, terrible draw that mate a month to late for them pegs. Was on peg 49 the other week, same problem, tiny fish 😢 Best of luck on your next Qualifier! 💪
I can't remember those small fish being a problem before but I only fish there a couple of times a year mate
VERY VERY GOOD THANKS FOR A GREAT VIDEO!!! YES PLEASE DEFINITELY MORE SIR!!!!! TOP MAN
Nice one thanks Anton!
Love the live matches Jamie. Keep them coming 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Thanks Bill!
Well done Jamie, a decent catch from the wrong part, would love to see more live matches mate, keep em coming..
Feed feeding down edge and do last hour on method for a biggun in edge on method
Well done mate keep filming the live matches they are enjoyable 🎣
Thanks Neal mate appreciate it ;)
Love to see.more live matches you always deliver on content if not weight.
Thanks Paul really appreciate it 👌
@@CatchFishingChannel just saying it how it is Jamie.you always talk alot of sense and you have helped me improve my feeder fishing alot over last few yrs and I'm grateful.
Yet another great video love these live match videos keep them coming 🎣🎣🎣🎣
The law of averages states that you will indeed at some point... draw a decent peg... Surely? Anyhow, love the live match films mate and I hope to see more. 🤟
Haha thanks Bernie mate and thanks for watching!
Really really really love the matches so keep them coming mate more the merrier cheers
GRAHAM
Thanks Graham plenty more to come mate ;)
Enjoyed that jamie👍
Love watching your videos and picking up more tips. Had some success myself in matches recently fishing feeder against the pole lads. 140lb and 99lb 14 oz at Monkhall Shropshire and yesterday 19lb 12oz on a hard day at Docklow all my fish came in last hour my perseverance paid off on hybrid feeder pellet and 6mm wafter. 6 f1s got me 3rd place. Keep up the great videos. 👍
Oh nice weights those mate!
@@CatchFishingChannel thanks for that Jamie keep them videos coming question I have for you what length hook link do you use when using maggot feeder ?
Unlucky Jamie you’ve done your best on not great area, it would be great to see your next qualifying match on video good luck on your next one 👍
Thanks Robert!
Great video and commentary Jamie
Thanks Alan 👍
I see your fishing is different from what i do. If i start a fishing , i build my feed up gradually, at first i put only ground bait , and if i get a bite or two only then i start adding "proteins" worms , maggots etc to keep them there . The same way with feeder , i start with the ground bait and only if i have some activity i start adding the micros. Don't want to over feed the few fish that find my feed.
Well done Jamie top class for patients and and true grit please film more matches I have great interest fishing Meadowlands hoping to qualify for the meadowlands masters so gathering knowledge as I live near Portsmouth and have not fished up country being semi retired now I hope to fish qualifying matches for all the big events next year as missed most for this season due to neck operation all the best for nexted match I'm sure you will come good
Oh nice one thanks Martin and good luck in the qualifiers mate!
Great informative video Jamie , good look with next qualifier
looked like a hard day's fishing for you Jamie but well done, nice video, and yes please
Thanks James mate 👌
Good watch Jamie, on to the next one and hope you draw a flyer 👍
Thanks Martin 👊
Unlucky mate you can’t beat a bad draw keep these live matches coming 👍🏿hopefully see you on the Gloucester canal
Thanks Gareth mate ;)
Unlucky mate. Better luck next time.
Thanks Anthony mate ;)
Brilliant Video like to see it great content 👍
Thanks mate!
Tough match Jamie, they need to stock some fish , last time they restocked it fished well most pegs you had a chance get Dave rugby to put some fish in to Peggy keep the live vids coming
Haha thanks mate and more coming mate ;)
Film next one please and hopefully a win
Thanks Paul!
Tough day at the office Jamie but its better to have fished than not. Fish have fins and can move as you said at the start so the possibility of a bonus is always there. Better luck at the draw bag next week mate.
Thanks Steve but you've got to give it a go haven't you ;)
@@CatchFishingChannel Jamie its half the reason we do it lol. Had my 1st qualifier for SERC last Sunday, drew peg 1 on the dam. A great pole peg if they are there!! Two weeks ago it was worth 35lb of roach on caster and hemp. Weighed in 4lb 11oz of feeder roach for half way in section. 12lb odd took the section with feeder caught skimmers.
In general it was a tough day for most on the dam wall with about 5lb the norm.
Still onwards and upwards mate
More live matches please Jamie 🙂
Keep the live matches coming please.
It looks like it needs restocking to me!
Do you think you could of won the zone if you had fished for the small roach. I enjoy all your videos, live and tutorial.
More live matches please
Thanks Chris plenty more to come!
Record everything please bud. I have just in the last 6 months taken up fishing with my twin brother after 50 years off not fishing. I’m 64 now and love method fishing so any advice and tip would be more than welcome bud. So fish on please
please film the next match ive missed your live matches
Yes pl2ease
Top watch
Tough day Jamie but as you no you’re only as good as your peg 😂please keep the videos coming and better luck and draw next time 🍀
Haha thanks Richard!
Fish down edge on method slack line it for a bigger fish
Why do some anglers insist on leaving the clear film on cork handles? The cork should be allowed to breathe, water ingress between the cork and film causes mildew and rot.
Do you find dendras better than lobworms? Great video mate. I've only recently got into feeder fishing, so this was very interesting
Usually yes Chris in our style of fishing but lobworms can be unbeatable for perch can't they!
Tried to get into the match circuit here in Ireland but got sneered at by the others cos I’m not part of the clique.. not to mention the dogs abuse I got from the next peg last match,, put me right off
Have you got a ticket for Staunton Jamie?
Yes I have mate :)
Cool. Me too. It’s by far the biggest match I’ve ever fished in. I run an AC based in Lincoln.
I was going to ask you for any tips but I guess you may be keeping your tactics close to your chest.
Hopefully I’ll se you and shout hello. Good luck 👍
Fish edge of reed bed
Unlucky Jamie never been a good peg 44 been fishing Carr Mill for over 20 year's with St.helens aa only live over the road.
Hahaha really? Been on worse pegs though mate haha
Which reel are you using for distance since matrix discontinued the horizon 6000?
them 40's are hard work in june/july so great effort but you had no chance i had 35lb 4 week ago on 39 peg week after it did 50lb then it dropped off as the bream had spawned and moved
Fantastic weights those mate! Where those wights on the method feeder?
@@CatchFishingChannel no jamie normal on worm at 20 turns and short pole
Hard luck, Jamie. I think you've reached that point in your angling career where someone else ought to draw for you. In every other aspect of your fishing you're A+, but drawing is not a skill you've acquired.
Hahaha I guess it wouldn't be fun if it was too easy would it?!! Hahaha onto the next one mate ;)
@@CatchFishingChannel I've watched all your videos for a couple of years and don't recall the last time you drew the right area, let alone an absolute flyer. A few lessons from Jamie Hughes and his approach to the drawbag wouldn't go amiss!
Why isn't this water stuffed full of carp? I've never seen anything so ridiculous. Sarcasm by the way.
Visit lol..i hate that comment
