I was very young and didn't understand and I have asked around and found out that Lester was talking about ma

Truly an icon in his field his show was such a peaceful time . It was so relaxing and entertaining,his voice and stage presence was a masterpiece. Martha White couldn’t ever have picked a better sponsor. Better days gone By,but won’t be forgotten!
I believe if Lester and Earl had stuck with pure bluegrass in the late sixties like Lester wanted too they would have continued to have great success and Earl could have taken his sons on the road with them as an opening act.
Was certainly a shame when Earl’s boy persuaded him to break from Lester, very sad indeed. Both Complimented each other in a way no one has duplicated since.
