  • Will self-checkout stations allow you to insert a $2 bill? That's what the director of The Two Dollar Bill Documentary aims to find out in this video. He takes several 2 dollar bills and slides the currency into these automated cashiers... at Walmart, Target and even a local supermarket. See what happens!

    Taco Bell called the cops on my wife when she used a $2 bill. The cop showed up and openly laughed at the ignorance of the teenagers working and the idiot manager. She should have demanded free food for the inconvenience and dealing with the morons.

    One of my favorites is when the cashier pulls out the counterfeit ink pen to check the $2 bill. Really would anyone ever take the time to fake a $2 bill especially when it’s crisp and uncirculated. Sometimes I think they just truly don’t know what it is so they use the ink pen.

    • @TheTwoDollarBillDocumentary
      @TheTwoDollarBillDocumentary  Před rokem +8

      That's exactly it. It's not just that you might be counterfeiting a $2, it's that you might be making up some new currency and trying to pass it off as legit. They use that ink pen like a security blanket.

      Same happened to me once, after buying some decks of playing cards from Walmart.
      In their defense, the texture was a little different due to moisture (possible exposure to strippers), and I was in a smaller isolated town, that once universally stayed at home to watch the fake Hatfield and McCoy tv show on History. We knew that show was fake, because one of the aggressive guys with a shotgun, was in real life a very friendly man we knew, who helped my father find cheap car insurance when money was tight.

    You don't have to put each bill in 1 at a time. You can put a whole stack of bills in the Walmart bill acceptor and it will pull each bill 1 at a time on its own automatically. It saves time. The Walmart self checkout also gives cash back if you use big bills. You won't get all change. I've gotten $97 back from a $100 bill after buying something worth $3 . 4 $20 bills, a $10 bill, a $5 bill and 2 $1 bills.

REFUSED!! 2nd Place San Saba,TX Dairy Queen burger place.. Managers enjoying a break.. I ordered a Hunger Buster with cheese, fries and drink combo. $15+ dollars so, I paid $16.00 dollars in $2.00 bills.. (Results were perplexing because the lady, freaked out, and ran to the back office to get a “cash counterfeit marker” then scrutinized every $2.00 bill I used to pay for the meal to go.. She was rather silently-rude, yet all of the $2.00 bills checked out!! There are towns in Western parts of Texas and Central Texas that scrutinized $2.00 bills. I’m ashamed of my fellow Texans, but that’s ok! The only positive experience was a Kwik Kar oil change place in Brownwood, TX where I brought my own oil and filter. $54.00 oil change and I used my $2.00 bills to pay. The oil-tech-clerk was happy to see me pay with $2.00 bills! I surmise 52% is FOR the use of $2.00 bills and 48% AGAINST the use of $2.00 bills.. State Funded facilities and the vending machines assigned, are Against the use of $2.00 bills due to antiquated regulations and equipment.. Sadly after explaining I wanted to video document my experience at the San Saba, TX Dairy Queen, the manager looked at me alarmed and quietly asked me to leave. My 45 years experience with fellow Texans are simply private people and do not want to be recorded. Unless they usually get paid to advertise and share on CZcams Channel. State Facilities are not accepting of being recorded as they can use legal action. Privacy Laws? I dunno. I’m not taking the risk.
