    The Phone 1 initially launched at around 40,000 INR (~500 usd) but in the suddenly the prices fell to 30,000. This was probably when they started manufacturing the phones sold in India in Chennai.

    This video taught me something really interesting and yet still underwhelming;
    You can start a generic android phone company with little to no experience and little to no in-house production, by outsourcing everything including the software and only designing the back glass/ cover shape.
    I think that should be a thing too
    Diy phone where you choose the chasis shape and size from 2 or 3 options and then all the other components depending on your budget

    I have a nothing phone and I have been using it every day for a year or so. The input responsiveness is laggy sometimes and the lockscreen glitches and hangs sometimes. These things might be forgivable if it weren't for a serious flaw with the camera. Apparently the phone has a 12mp and a 50mp mode. You take the same picture with each mode in bright daylight, zoom in, and there is literally no difference between the two images. Maybe this is one of the outsourcing companies cutting corners?
