  • In this video I go over the install of my $600 eBay turbo kit and review its performance in my BMW 325IS M20 turbo after 1 year of feeding it the beans. I wanted for years to turbo a BMW and had given up on a couple builds previous to this so in this video I explain just how easy and not expensive your first turbo project can be! Follow along as I cover KEY details not discussed in forums or other videos. Below is a parts list as well as extra items needed to make this setup run. I hope this video will motivate you to get your turbo build started! Please like and subscribe as there will be new content like this every Monday and Thursday!

Or does it have a standard piston? and you bought the ignition system from its own coil and where did you supply the electricity to the coil? Could you help

    • @CARSTUDIOYT
      @CARSTUDIOYT  Před rokem +1

      The internals of the engine and head were all stock and held up great. ignition system is stock too, i just relocated the coil but used the same wiring from factory to power it. I essentially bolted on this turbo kit to a stock M20 with the exception of the few small mods mentioned in the video.

    • @if2790
      @if2790 Před 2 lety

      You don't need a chip, you can run the stock ecu with obd1, easy to play with and do manually without tune. Injectors and turbo won't play with the ecu enough to screw it up and it will adapt

I had my wideband installed and working at first and the numbers looked good but then I burnt up the sensor so i just plugged the o2 sensor back up and it has been that way for months.
