How do you make sure the inside of a scound dog is cooked and nice and fluffy?
I've been trying so many different ways and so many different times to make the inside of the scon dog look like the inside of a regular scan which is nice and fluffy
So every time I cook scone dog, it's always soggy and flat on the inside of a scound dog
I have tried high heat for cooking on a small time.
I've tried to dry the hot dogs before placing them in the flower/scone.
I have tried low heat for a long time.
I have tried cooking each and every side for a time schedule and nothing seems to work
They all have the same end result with being flat and soggy on the inside
And I also have looked many times on CZcams
They just show you how to cook it. Make it but they don't show you how it looks like on the inside or how it's supposed to look

Great questions and thanks so much for asking!
Okay so what I do is I either fry them first or boil them before wrapping them and Then I leave them to dry out, or cool covered of course.
We do not put the weiners in flour first, we make the dough and wrap it. Also Bannock (fry bread) doesn't use yeast. Just water, baking powder and flour, you can add milk but it'll for surely make soggy Bannock dogs or you called it a scound? Is that what these are called? We obviously call them different lol but the outside is usually crunchy and the inside is softer but not soggy. I hope this helps.

    What's the recipe?

The spirit will guide you once you bring out your bowl, flour, baking powder and water. Lol jk
But I honestly I don't have an exact recipe. I just use about 4 cups of flour sometimes 6.. then like 3 table spoons of baking powder.. maybe 4 or 5.. and water.. again I PROBABLY use around 2 cups of water... sometimes I'll need to add a little bit and there were times where I had to add more flour.
And the other thing is you can't touch it too much 😂 or it'll be super flat and not fluffy. My first time making Bannock it was just flat and hard, could've been used as puks for hockey lol
But yeah, that's all I can say about that
