â2727 nice and even ratingâ - Levy never fails to call an odd number even đ
hahaha nice one
It is 27 and 27
He stopped playing, what more do you want.
Let's just say there's a good reason why he quit his day job to be a CZcamsr.
very true lol
There are very few chess players who actually act normal in an interview, and Vidit is one of them.. Good Job Gotham chess
yeah, chill dude
Chess players are mostly weard. He is the only one who act like normal human
This guy seems so charismatic and just a person you would have so much fun to hang out with
Yeah,Even his vlogs are fun to watchđ
Bro was so happy before the tournament đđ
Yeah I'm feeling badđ
he would be just fine he played for the win yesterday coz that was the only way he could have won the whole thing. He would play for the win again today probably thats what i like about him he is willing to risk losing to win a game even with less time. Sometimes you need to make such decisions to win big
wdym? He is fine, he is above Alireza
â@@seife41 he is 2 points behind the leader, its gonna be very hard for him to make it through tbh (though I want Vidit to win very bad)
Perfect timing for this release after yesterdays games. Such disgusting things were said about Vidit online. Important to humanize these competitors. They are not machines
L behaviourâ@@gknkrnkjgjugjrgjrng
What disgusting things can be said about this gentleman pro chess player ?
â@@gknkrnkjgjugjrgjrngI do hope that you say this in jest, and it is just your poor sense of humor rather than anything malicious which drove you to make this illogical and despicable statement.
â@@gknkrnkjgjugjrgjrng đ€Ą
@@gknkrnkjgjugjrgjrng WHAT
17:53 "If you like someone, u feel strongly but you know there's no chance that something is going to lead"
"I'm married, I wouldn't know"
That was greatt lol
Vidit seems like a really chill and nice guy, hope he does better in future candidates.
i really wish to see him become world champ even more than pragg and gukesh
â@@Rahulji-yu7vj he is the only grandmaster who act as normal human being baki sab toh Robert hai
â@@animedc69Gukesh lol
@@animedc69 yeah lol
my fav interview so far, Vidit is a real one
Vidit will always be the people's champion. Very decent player. It is really hard to see him lose after a great performance đą
Sept 9th, 50 days before Grand Swiss '23, Robert Hess commented Vidit is one of the favourites to win the Grand Swiss. Everybody went silent after he said it, but I'm proud to say I believed it too.
I've watched all of of Gotham's interviews so far and Vidit feels super relatable even at 17:43 he just like me fr
yeah.....actually he seems so genuine....i too feel relatable
He's literally me
Petition to include Chess in the Olympics
Thank God, since i liked now they gonna do it for sure
â@@adomaskuzinas2137đđ
The olympics is not what it used to be.
There's a chess olympiad
True, if skating and break dancing is in Olympics, why isn't chess
Of all the supa GMs I find Vidit's vibe the best. I recognize he's spiritually centered and at a place of non-attachment. You know in the history of chess there's usually one one person who dominates while everyone else swims toward the top. All of these players have very different personalities - but one thing is in common: they are all extremely intelligent. Vidit is a true unique player
Dina will surely watch this interview.
Why?
â@@mg9854iconic quote from BotezLive video where they played against Vidit
vidit at least should get a beer from Ian for literally stopping hikaru
If Im not wrong he was initially winning against Ian. Dunno why he suddenly blundered a winning position in the last, he was also close to beating Fabi when they faced in first half of tourney. The guy just chokes in the end!
I have found such appreciation for Vidit this candidates, especially after yesterdayâs game vs Nepo. Itâs so easy to go âoh he missed chances to win and then to draw and he risked itâ. But then you usually hear people say that chess is boring and itâs always a draw. This man pushed and pushed, yes that left him vulnerable and lost, but it was one of the most exciting games Iâve seen. Vidit is a Monster hats off to you, sir!
Damn Vidit and Levy have the best handshake so far in this series
I love seeing Vidit like this, hes so humble and has a great smile that just says: "Hey look im a nice guy"
in every interview there is âan elephant in the roomâ - lots of elephants there in Toronto
No just the one, every interview is in the same room
well its the same room, so everyone is staring at that one elephant, its hard not to acknowledge it
â@@herrjo7461đ
This was the most friendly interview Levy did.
i like this conversation , you can't hate mr vidit .
some toxic people still manage to do that somehow :(
I hope he wins the remaining games!
I'm rooting for him so I was kinda upset when he lost to Nepo although he had a couple of chances to win.
Yeah I'm also feeling bad for him after today's game, he seems like a good guy though
Vidit should be nothing but proud of his Candidates' performance. Brilliant chess and an amazing fighting spirit. I became a huge fan. Much love from Brazil!
I think he is the only one who also said like subscribe to gothamchess which i loved personally because where an interview is all about you and your opinion, its nice to receive the same for the other person and like showed his emotions so well. Such an articulate person and also a great player.đ Easily one of my favorite players. Loved the interview!
Humble king vidit
Vidit is best, very nice interview, thanks Levy đâ€
Vidit is a gentleman and a scholar, he has a bright future both in chess and due to his impressive presence
Vidit, you are amazing. Know that. All you can do is fight and you have absolute no control over the result. What makes you brave is that you fought and you fought fair.
Vidit is so unrated as a player specifically calculation
He tried to win vs the best human player in the world, Ian Nepo. And almost did it! Amazing player. Go Vidit!
Ian isn't the best human player in the world
@@mortimersmithsr2522 thats magnus fabi is number 2 i would say ian is number 3 along with hikaru but nothing more than that
uhh what the sigma dude he is rated. hes 2727 baka đ
Heâs rated
So far in the candidates the tournament got exciting only because of Vidit... He didn't even play a single boring game
Vidit is the most articulate of alll the candidates! He's a fun guy
Im so impressed by everyone you've interviewed so far. Growing up my impression of top level chess players were that they were dour and single minded like the Grandmasters from the Soviet school at best, or lunatics like Fischer at worst. It's nice seeing people as down to earth and friendly as Vidit at the top level!
My man.. i love him more than any other player simply because how humble he is and he dont give up at all.. â€
VD is so humble.. hearing his thoughts is always a pleasure
I WILL BET ON YOU SIR, YOU ARE LIKE A FIGHTER, AND WE NEED SOME ONE LIKE YOU AS FUTURE WORLD CHAMPION NOT LIKE THE EXISTING ONE.
Yes ding sucks canât even win single game in goat
Objectively speaking ding is not bad he is a very very good chess player. He is just rusty and needs to play some games.
Tf is wrong with ding? He showed how good he is in the world cup versus nepo and he is more than enough to be called a fighter. He was the underdog, he had fought an ilness and had basically no support from his country and managed to come on top. I hate when internet dwellers reduce human beings to machines that if they dont win they are not good
He is such a nice guy I'm feeling bad for him after today's game
Vidit is the coolest grandmaster he has a balance of everything the composure ,the chess ability , personality everything he is very relatable
Vidit is a great player, very creative and his games are always fun to watch but if there is one thing he's missing it's self confidence. He should believe in himself more because it all starts in the mind. if you believe you can do it, you're already half way there. i say this with love, im not criticizing him. I wish him all the best âŁ
11:47 VD will code his own chess engine đ
Vidit is the most humble playerâ€
There is something subconscious holding back vidit, I feel he much better player than he performs
Darn, ended up liking Vidit more because of this interview. Seems very humble.
He is the reason why I play chess,And enjoyed lock-down time
you are an inspiration viditâ€
i think vidit is the GM version of levy.
This is the best interview of this series. I will watch it again haha.
vd, you can still do it... you are my favourite and mostly everyone'sâ€â€ you still will be our favourite , we love you...
For this he has to Win all 4 rounds not even draw... But I am still rooting for himâ€â€
No he is canât win
@@soham2077 same, i think that he can win the last 3 rounds.. i support him!đ€
@@PWFFlair if he could not, still I will be the huge fan of himđ
U are Indian?
Levy was caught off guard by Vidit's honesty in the start. Levy didn't seem to be betting on Vidit honestly based on the recent live with Sagar but he was too polite to say no to it to hi face.
I thought this was going to be another boring candidates tourney but now Gukesh and Mostly Vidit just made things amazingly fun to watch
That handshake at the end was the best handshake chess community has ever seen LOL
This interview made Vidit one of my favourite GMs, he sounds so genuine.
0:00
Levy: "IM LEVY ROZMAN"
on the screen: "IM LEVY ROZMAN"
omg I never caught that
lmao
5:40 I fully believe Levy was dwelling that deep because he suffers from those thoughts too as he has mentioned various times.
Vidit is an inspirational person. We love you â€
Such a nice guy , was hard to see him lose
Vidit is the people's champion â€
Nice interview, Levi seems much more comfortable than in previous interviews
I love Vidit so much...he is my favorite chess grandmaster forever â€â€â€â€
Love this interview format where we learn more about the players as persons. Certainly more interesting than postgame interviews
Just play your heart out Vidit, we all love & respect you no matter what happens! đ©”
Vidit speaks the host and Levy speaks like the guest haha, love it
I really like vidit simply because of the kind of person he is! Love from India â€ïž
I was waiting for this interview.đ„ Tough Luck against Nepo .Best of luck for the rest of Tournament.
I started following Chess and continue to do so just because of Vidit â€â€
VD youâre my favorite and will always be â€â€
His games were thrilling
Hes very good and natural with English, so nice relatable guy. I hope he does well
To me Vidit is the nicest of all the professional players.
wow 3 years of meditating every day!
Such a charismatic guy, best interviewee so far right next to Vishy and Hikaru
I would love to hang out with vidit, he seems such a chill guy
I think, this your BEST interview so far in The Candidates, Levy! Congrats!!! You're really the best Chess CZcamsr!đđđđ
Olympic chess would be amazing
His games are the most interesting in Toronto. Even when he is losing.I like Vidit as a person
Vidit is an extremly good-looking chess player and also seems like a really nice guy. I'm baffled đ
All those interviews are so cool, thank you Gotham and those who makes it possible!
I've become a huge fan of Vidit. Whether he loses or wins doesn't matter I'll support Vidit for the rest of his chess career
Cool interview, good vibes. First time I've seen Vidit speak and he's a likeable chap.
Levy played that smooth when asked directly to his face "would you bet money on me winning?" đ€
Vidit definitely puts himself down a lot, whether he admits it or not
I love Vidit man, great job Levy!
Gosh vidit is such a gem of a person
Kudos and great work levy to make these interviews
My view has definitely changed about vidit after watching this interview
Vd â€
i now love vidit. Great personality, Vidit, fabi, so and anish definately have the best personality
Does anyone else hear Surya in the way Vidit talks?
I have listened to Vidit interviews in the past but he sounds different lately.
oh, vidit loves to code. That is awesome to hear
Wonderful interview. Vidit is so articulate and may I say charming. How could anyone dislike this sweet man! Go Vidit, you can still cause some upsets and turn this tournament upside down! Time to get some wins in!
Vidit rocking that 90s style jacket
great person, i love vidit. good luck my man

VD be like: Both A and Bđ
My man is so real.. â€â€ king
He's such a down to earth guy.
Great interview! Chill guy, humble
I think Vidit is getting hate because he beat Hikaru and because of that Hikaru may not win the candidates đź
7:10 levy talking about rose namajunas!!
Most interactive interview levy has taken
thanks levy......ur videos are really helping chess to gain more popularity and value....thank u
Vidit is so charismatic
This was some good content. Interesting and fun to watch. Thank you đ
