@@malikmalik-ny7tv I think that you're 100 % right. You could see the "hate" in Serenas eyes and Serenas game, whenever she played Maria. She didn't want to just beat her. She wanted to "destroy" her.
Also the three defeats in 2007 must have hurt Serena. For those three defeats on three different surfaces, I have no excuse. In this period, Henin was just better. Of course, Serena is in gerneral above everybody else. But those 3 Slams in 2007, she had simply no answer.
Victorias attitude is amazing and just great. No fear of Serena. She pushed herself no matter what the score is. No matter, how many times she lost. No fear, no holding back, great fighter, amazing attitude.
And yeah, for Venus...Bad luck. Venus is a great player. Too bad for her, she has a little sister named Serena. Anything Venus can do, Serena can do better. Venus doesn't have a plan B. She has plan A and if it's not working out, she is not able to adept or to chance her game. Serena always has a plan B and most of the time also a plan C.

No it wasnt. The 08-10 era was pretty solid. Along with the Williams sisters there is Sharapova ,Dementieva, Ivanovic, etc. Lets not forget Kim make her comeback too for a while. To me it is definitely better than 93-96 era. Where there is no other player that could even remotely challenged Graf. The worst era is definitely after 2010. Its even worse after Sharapova was banned and Victoria got injured.

It's funny Justine is so into herself she still thinks people will remember her 100 years from now as someone more than Carlos Rodgiquez's first GS champion before Li Na. Her attitude towards tennis seems so embarrassingly patriarchal in an unhealthy soccer-inspired way it makes numerous people sick. She has made tennis fans suffer since quitting in 2008, did herself more harm in 2010 by ruining her reputation as a somehow sane person who tells the truth. Carlos did the rest by helping Na Li win AO the next year.
Imagine Nalal quitting at 25 out of fear nobody will ever want to make love with him. Sadist and masochist attitude combined, and that's why she's made people reference "Justine" by de Sade for many years to come. Watching her self-denial is almost painful: her "I have no regrets" (means "I'm very sorry"), her "I'm happy" (means "I'm deeply troubled").
