have two of the Tribit 1s on my moped, The sound punches through even in high speed, and you can really hear some deep bass going on. I had the bose micros before they sucked. I can say the best thing of the Tribbit is not just the sound, you don't need to connect to any app for it to change to stereo mode, takes about 30 seconds to prepare for the ride, The bose on the other hand.... I don't even want to talk about it don't know about the Marshalls though do you need to connect to app in order to pair two of those?
Everybody just loves tribit micro. I want that Marshall one tho. I love the design. And that sound is superb. Of course it's more expensive. It has that brand name that been around forever. Tribit still new to this game but they are making a heck of a name for themselves
How does the the tribit x sound go compare to the marshall willen?
And among the tribit x sound go and storm box micro 2 which has better soumd quality?
I have 2 storm box micro 2 speakers, they are GREAT! in stereo mode! I have one on each side of my dresser. I also have the Tribit Storm Box Pro (2 of those too, I know, I'm either spoiled, or a speaker-file, lol)
Excellent review! I have the Bose Micro & the Tribit 2, and was curious as to how it compared to the Marshall. I think your assessments were right on. I know the audio isnât accurate, it still helped in the comparison. To me, the Marshall not only sounded more detailed, it also seemed to have a wider/bigger soundstage. But man⊠for the money? Iâm pretty happy with the Tribit. Thank you! đ¶â€ïžđđœâŒïž
What do you find is the difference between the bose and the Tribit ll please?
I just got mine and yes it's incredible..the sound the battery life and size is just what I needed for my everyday use..Tribit sure did a great job on this micro speaker
My Tribit arrived todayâŠI wanted a small inexpensive travel speaker and I am shocked by the sound. It sounds a lot closer in quality to my Sonos Roam than I would have expected (at a fraction of the price). I love my Roam but was not comfortable having it on a beach or by a pool. This little speaker will do the job perfectly. I was originally considering a JBL GO3, but itâs not even close to the same audio quality.
How's your Tribet working?
Confused between JBL Go4 and strombox micro 2.
I have also this tribit micro speaker and I love it it easy to carry where ever I go
Looking for a smaller similar micro speaker that can be carried in chest pockets of a jacket. Both these are to big an heavy
Wanted something with at least 10 hours battery life and decent sound at an affordable price. The Tribit checked those boxes and more...love my little music box. I'm thinking about getting two and making them my stereo speaker set-up. The charging output feature works well for me too.
Go for Sony
Great budget speaker!! Sounds amazing for the price. You expect that from Marshall but it quite a surprise from the Tribit again for the price
What should i go for? Tribit stormbox micro 2 or tribit maxsound plus upgraded version
Can you also make a comparison of Tribit Maxsound Plus? Want to know what you think about this speaker. Thanks
Hi Danny I love my Marshall willens black and cream awesome design the Tribits are great lack design does the Willen come is an olive green color I seen pics but canât find it. The Tribit micro 2 in coming out in red November 17 release. Great video as always.
how would you compare these with the sound quality of the Wonderboom 2 or 3?
I heard one of the tribits at a show and tell filmmaker meeting in the basement of a local library. It was hooked up to a laptop. I couldnât believe the quality of sound that tiny speaker was emitting in this huge room. I just bought one and Iâm thinking two! Nice review BTW.
I didn't get it, can you attach this speaker to the bicycle, I need one for the bicycle and it seems like a good buy.
Well stated on the looks and design of the speaker Marshall has a great look.
Excellent video. Glad I found your channel!đđ
I love your video,keep upđ
Thank for this comparisonđđ»ââïž
if you say the Willen pronounces the percussive elements then it probably has a lift at the 2-4 (ish) khz area which is where you have snare snap and kick click sounds
Thanks for your honesty
Tribit seems to be really good when it corns to sound, they know that they're doing, I have the Tribit Flybuds C1 and they easily sound better than my AirPods Pro while costing much less
Like any other premium speaker by itself like when you install in cars, they need time to break in to unleash the beast in sound stage and beauty dynamics..... That's what the Willen needs to do, break in and then is music heaven.... It's build touch if you keep dropping it yet for the Tribit like the Clip 4 all the rubber glued accents will peal off quick and if drop the volume buttons might fail as well....
I have just brought two of these and play them in stereo mode and I am amazed at the sound quality and volume. One sounds great but two in stereo are just amazing. The two cost me less than one Bose which sounds no way near as good. I payed ÂŁ108 for the pair from Amazon. 10/10
Are you talking about the Tribit or Marshall?
Which is louder the micro 2 or the Clearon?
I wish you could compare both of these to the Minirig Mini 2.
guys which sound better marshall willen or jbl go3?
I love your honesty man, great vid.. I was planning to get a willen over the TM2.....but because it was cheaper I got the TM2, and I say I sure did made a good choice it sounds so good for its size, and I have marshall emberton, and dude i hate to say this but it's almost near close to being as good as the emberton because of its power and sound quality,.....sure the emberton is surely a better speaker, but I'm just amazed how the TM2 can somehow on par with emberton.
Yeah glad you got the TM2. Its kind of crazy how good it is.
What about this compared to tribit xsound plus 2?
Iâve just bought both to compare: the Tribit absolutely slaughters the Marshall: more balanced sounds across mids and highs, goes louder, & has much deeper bass. I wanted to love the Marshall but the sound of the Tribit is far far better, no question đ
Thank you Sir! đ
I got mine today yeaaaaay love it
I want to apologize, the first video I watched of you was when you didn't review of all tag Lansing Hydra jolt and I felt that you were a little too critical of that, but I see now that you're just as much of an audio fyle as I am, my ears are different from yours and we obviously hear things differently, I really enjoyed this video and my hands off to you sir, you've earned a subscribe for me, keep up the good work.
Can either take a bluetooth mic? I am looking to put together a speaker/mic combo for a tour guide. cheers
Are you *serious*?
The tribit has now 2 new bt speakers? The stormbox 2, xsound go plus 2 (upgraded version more watts, battery life and they have the tribit applications too) but the stormbox mini is quite disappointing.. Im not buying it đ
Hey Danny the Tribit stormbox micro 2 has a new color out itâs red looks awesome on Amazon but sold out already Iâm waiting on the Tribit stormbox flow due out in 5 days looks like the Bose Flex it has 25 watts Tribit keeps inivating
Yo Danny, Marshall updated 3 of their speakers with June 23 release date. Iâm specifically interested in the Stanmore III. Feature rich and future proof. Get your hands on one to review, please.
I own the Emberton I. Awesome speaker, classic design.
Thanks for your quality reviews.
I've got the Woburn iii coming in. Couldn't afford to check them all out. But I bet if the Woburn is good (I'll compare to Gen 1 as well) then I bet all 3 will be worth it.
Good final point about style so I don't know... still looks like the Willen for me.
Do they weigh the same?
There is an app to EQ the tribit. I also like the sound on the micro 2 plus it's half the price đ
This is so easy. You can buy two of the new Tribits (which I own), and pair them, for the cost of one Willen. This is a no-brainer. That shirt ... that's another story entirely. Good job.
Hi nice review... I am expecting 2022 marshall woburn III review soon...đđ€đ¶đŻđ”đ„
Tribit definitely sounds good, but still the aesthetics of the Willen, Man! It pulls me to that amazing speaker. Just ordered one!
DAMN, you make my life even harder :( So if money is not an issue, Tribit is still a better buy? So in love with the look of Willen, but don't want to buy more expensive speakers and sound quality is not as good as Tribit
I told you the Tribit 2 is awesome glad you were able to get one. listening through a JBL CHARGE 5 bass is great on these speakers thanks for the new video.
Thanks for the suggestion... it seems like everyone is figuring out these are a hidden gem.
@@DannyPops letâs hope the price stays where itâs out waiting on Amazon to get the Willen hopefully in July thanks fora new video for Fatherâs Day. Amazon has new JBL CHARGE 3âs wow what a speaker I was taken back.

How is the tribit against the wonderboom 3?
My tribit is coming tomorrow â€
The Marshall Willen is in Sale where I live. Should I get it or the tribit?
Willen forsure if its on sale. Its on sale at amazon now.
I would buy the tribit but the buttons look sensitve they remind me of the clip 4 buttons. I had the clip 4 it kept on turning off on me every second cause the buttons
The buttons on the TM2 is good quality, it has a good click on it every time you press it, it actually feels premium and you can tell the built is good buy how it feels wen you press it.
I want buttons that are harder to press down on since im going to have it strapped to my waistband i dont want to accidentally keep on pushing down on the buttons. Since im going be using it at work and i move around alot
@@Madskii11z I always strap them on my waist... And so far not a time where I accidentally press them... There not sensitive thats for sure...just enough for your fingers to press.
@@Madskii11z the buttons on the micro 2 feel like JBL boom box buttons
If price is not the issue, which sounds better?
They were almost exactly the same to my ears.
Love your review. Not many rewiewers say two Tribits like you do. It will be a fair comparison to have two Tibits for the same price range.
Stupid suggestion
@@propane1777 I would like to hear your reason.
I have the tribit Micro 2 and Iâm not sure what to think of it. The bass is nice but the rest of the frequencies seem very veiled, with no detail. I thought tribitâs Xsound Go had a more interesting sound with better clarity, though a bit bright and lacking the Micro 2âs bass. Ordered the Willen and will compare. I know you wanna showcase which speaker is most accurate to the source recording but I think you should cut that out of future vids as it interferes and distracts with the back-and-forth comparison of the speakers youâre reviewing.
Update: So I received the Marshall Willen today and I must say that for the price of $130.34, after tax, itâs a total ripoff - tinny sound, weak bass, and every time i switched back to the Willen after comparing it to the Tribit Micro 2 I kept hearing an annoying crackling pop sound. The Tribit easily wins and itâs about half the price. Having said that Iâm returning both and keeping the $30 Xsound Go, also from Tribit. Itâs the most balanced-sounding speaker, imo.
So if I Bought two Tribit Xsound Go and use it in stereo mode (upgrade version supports 2 speaker mode), Will it compensate for bass it lacks?
@@kpsayyed84 I canât really say with certainty as I havenât tried 2 speakers but me personally, I would purchase the Maxsound Plus, instead of buying two goâs.
@@thematt5325 fair enough thanks đ
damn this late night tribit venture of mine is getting more and more complicated... the late night venture has lead me to believe the Tribit trumps the soundcore, whisch trumps the marshall.... I mean. If we don't care about the stupid price variable... which/what is better, ''more accurate to source recording''? We need graphs with them too people... Should all be physics, right?

Nailed it. Itâs how you feel about using a speaker!
I have the Marshall and the tribute storm box and I love my Marshall speak and it is a bit cleaner of a sound but that tribute for the price sounds great! Definitely a great sound and for the price u get a lot for the price. My opinion. This guy didnât even know what sounds were lol was he talking about snares? lol sheeesh.
both l want to own
Based on what you just provided it's the Tribit. Clear winner.
well saidđ
I purchased Tribit Stormbox Micro 2 because of you...
You want more soul in your music with the willen just use the eq⊠the customization you get with it is honestly insanse and you can make it sound however you want to (to an extent). Also the willen sounds like just the source but with a high treble eq vs the tribit sounds like a small speaker
Et. La. JBL. Go. 3. Vs. Willem. ?
true, the marshal looks just legit and serious and quality, but the tribit has the better sound.. if there ever was a way to combine the two..
I read that the tribit has some considerable latency, what makes it unusable for video playback. Can someone confirm this and is it a Problem in the Willen too?
Let me test this....
So I just used the audio video sync test video on CZcams. The Willen has no delay, but the trivit has a slight slight delay. Not terrible but maybe a fraction of a second slow.
@@DannyPops Good to know, so it would not spoil an occasional CZcams video. Thank You
I've watched a couple of movies on Netflix with the Tribit, didn't notice any latency from an average user point of view
is there a mic on the Tribit? Considering it, but need one with a mic.
yeah the tribit 2 has a mic
@ 2:24 why the sound change drastic. i thinks theres a technical issue there.
What you are hearing is when the cut between clips isn't perfect. Sometimes the frame rate of the camera 29.97 frames per second (fps)and the recorder that was on 24fps don't perfectly synchronize. Edit: 23.97fps

OlĂĄ, me inscrevi no canal pois gosto de som e mĂșsica. Sou do Rio de Janeiro - Brasil
Both sound great. The Willen seems to be exclusive for super cool people; their commercial features a tattooed female(?) hand with pink nail varnish. Not for ordinary people like me. Seem silly for me to think like this, but like you said, looks and marketing influences our choices.
Thank you for your very good and very sound reviews. I like it that you give your opinions as such. Please post more.
Yep same like apple iPhone and iPad..good.markwtinf but compare. to android and other headphone...apple products are just that bad apples
Agreed, Tribit looks like boring, it reminds me the cassette recorders boombox from chip Japanese companies back in the 80's. Tribute would do better with a funnier or aggressive design. Just turning control buttons into black may help.
Looks boring?. What do you mean?... Makes no sense..
dang, the Tribit can be a powerbank too?
Man, that makes the decision between the 2 even harder
Yes you can actually charge your phone on the Tribit micro 2! I did it right before the video.
I haven't found the battery size of the Marshall but the Tribit has a 3.6V 4700mah battery.
Both are 10W speakers.
But both completely dominate the JBL clip 4 with it's 3.7V 1100mah battery and 5W.
I really want to know about the battery size of that Marshall as Tribit feels really honest and those 12 hours might be measured at 80% Volume.
Sony just casually claims 24hours on a 30W speaker with 3.6V 5400 and at 80% it's much closer to 3-4 hours, the 24hours are actually reached at Volume 3/15 when I tested it on my Sony xb 31.
I guess price is not a factor because if it were then your decision would be easy
@@fa14bi-78 I don't know about Marshall battery, but Tribit Micro 2 have one 21700 battery, and Micro 1 have an 18650, both are easy for replacement which also should be considered. Hope that's helpful.
83⏠for willen or 60 for tribit which would you pick
That tribit micro 2 sounds kinda pricy so I'd lean to the willen
45-50 is the ideal price for micro 2...
I purchased the Tribit Micro 2 from Amazon recently. I was looking for a Bluetooth speaker that I could securely fasten to something I was carrying, to allow me to listen to music while I was hashing or hiking, and I also wanted a Bluetooth speaker that at least offered an IPX7 rating as I wanted it to be waterproof. I decided to go with the Tribit Stormbox Micro 2, as it was a suitable size, it had a built-in strap which could be used to fasten it to various items (in my case the strap for my camera bag), it was quite small and also didn't really draw attention to itself.
I took the Stormbox Micro 2 out for a spin last Saturday, attached to my camera bag. At first I was a bit worried about the strap coming loose, which would result in the speaker going off on its own trail, but it remained securely fastened where I placed it, and after a short while I stopped worrying about it. The overall experience was much better than I expected, with the Stormbox Micro 2 sounding very clear with a tone that appeared to be much warmer than I would have expected from a speaker this size. I suspect that the warm-sounding tone of the speaker might be due to it being mounted decidedly off-axis (the speaker facing in the direction I was walking, rather than at my ears), but it sounded great nevertheless. I also tried listening to the Stormbox Micro 2 at different volumes during the hash, turning it up when I was alone, and turning it back down again when I was in the company of other hashers to ensure that I was not making a nuisance of myself. The Stormbox Micro 2 definitely has a volume "sweet spot", above which it starts to noticeably reduce the bass response and distortion becomes very audible. However it still gets more than loud enough for what I consider to be a "personal" Bluetooth speaker. And it definitely sounded a lot better than the larger but tinny-sounding Bluetooth speaker that another hasher was carrying.
Overall, if you use this speaker in the way it was apparently intended to be used (as a personal BT speaker used in very close proximity), it is a GREAT solution. If you want a more general-purpose Bluetooth speaker, there are likely better and cheaper options available.
Nice detailed comment! I'm just curious, what is hashing?

Probably the marshall is just too much clean than tribit that your hearing will trick you its kinda muffle.. Tribit is more fuller and balanced.. while marshall is tighter, more detail, give emphasis to highs and instruments.. depends really what you listen most.. outdoor is tribit, indoor is marshall...
The Marshall sound quality is superior but if you like just higher base sounds the tribit 2 has the advantage for pop or heavy base music only. If you listen to a philharmonic type classic or instrumental corded type the Marshall will always be the best in quality reproduction sound.
