Looking forward to this evening, If you don't know Marc and Julie , they have been our inspiration to lose our sticks and bricks and join the RV community, the kindest people anywhere, left a message from my husband and me thanking you for the incredible work that you put into RV Love!
Thank you soooo much for your kind words of support here, on Instagram and on the voicemail for the RV Show USA. We really appreciate you!
I lived in Colorado Springs, when I was younger. We went to garden of the gods quite often. Safe travels to you both.
Thank you. Yes, we love the area, and after such a long stay this spring, it started to feel like home. -M
It was great seeing you both again. Great that you could get moved to Colorado Springs. I love that area, so scenic and beautiful. I used to go through there all the time when I was in the trucking industry. Looking forward to getting back there again. Stay safe and Happy Trails!!!
Thank you! Yes it's a been a while - so much has been going on! It's a gorgeous area - we're so happy to be here to ride this out. Glad you god to enjoy it too! Stay safe!
That is a pretty nice park. I hope they got done with all the construction on the street out front.
Yes, that street construction is finally done. We totally relate, as the construction was deep under way during our last visit. -M
Will try to make it for sure. Thanks for the update and letting us know.
Great. Hope to hear you on the call. We always enjoy being on Alan's show. -M
HI there - we would really love it if you called the RV Show USA with a question before Tuesday 4pm, so we can answer it on the show Wednesday - would you mind calling 1-855-296-7469 - and leave RVLOVE a voicemail message with your question. We would really appreciate it!
I absolutely loved the format for this video! Kudos to you both! Walking, talking and some altitude can truly wear you out, can't it? I'm putting that RV park on my bucket list....
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it. Yes, trying to talk and walk at altitude after so long did take surprisingly more breath than expected. But fun format. Glad you liked it, and yes, we have stayed here many times, and were quick to choose it as our preferred place to be sheltering in place and would recommend it to others. Safe Travels (when we can) :) -M
Glad you both are well!!!!
Thank you. Yes, we are both very well. Hope you are too. -M
@@Rvlove Yep! Safe and sound up here- we did our first maiden voyage with our new NOBO19.6, boondocked on some land in Livermore- its AMAZING how much you learn on your first trip:) ALSO- rained cats and dogs Friday night, laying in the RV was my first real no tent no water experience, and it was amazing:))))) It's all your fault we are on this journey:) Thanks for everything:)
We’re also at Garden of the Gods resort! Small world! Enjoy your newsletter and CZcams channel!
Thank you. Glad you enjoy our content. Indeed a small world sometimes. -M
We love Garden of the Gods RV resort, good off leash areas for the pup and good size spaces. We actually saw you guys there a few years ago but was too shy to say Hi LOL
How funny that you saw us here a few years ago. We have been here many times and really like it too. Which is why it was our top choice to shelter in place for these two months. -M
We look forward to travelling south again soon when the border re-opens! Have you visited our neck of the woods - Vancouver Island, BC?
We hoped to visit vancouver island last year. Maybe next year, like you when opens back up -M
With the inspection you had done on CC how much were you able to negotiate off the asking price of 39,999.00. Also what do you have behind the RV on the rack. Is it a motorcycle/Scooter or bicycles?
We were able to purchase our CC for only $25,000. The inspection was definitely part of what gave us the power to negotiate that far. And please don't set that as an expectation of what you could buy a similar year coach. Ours had high miles and needed some work. What you have seen in the past is a bicycle rack (2 bikes) under a cover. BUT... we will be carrying a scooter back there in future. Just arrived today. -M
I really enjoy your videos my husband and I are going to sell our home and buy a rv also. We have been looking forward to this each day! So your videos are very informative and fun thank you!
Thank you. Glad you enjoy our videos. We also have a lot more information at our blog rvlove.com, and in our online summits and online school at rvsuccessschool.teachable.com/ and of course our book, Living the RV Life. Hope our resources will help you achieve every success in your coming adventures. -M
Hi from Uxbridge Ontario Canada 🇨🇦,it’s was the most beautiful day today I got a little bit of ☀️,, and celebrated my moms 78 birthday 🎂,,the gardens are growing, and we started the winter cleaning and its taking a little bit longer then usual with new knees, feels good just moving around...without a jacket..
Thanks for sharing. Yes, wonderful to see spring blooming. Glad you are able to be out and enjoying it with your mom. -M
Hi from New Hampshire. Now that you’ve been in your remodeled rv for awhile, what are your thoughts about it? The good and bad. Thanks.
We still love our remodeled interior of our RV. Very homey luxury apartment feel. Being a 20 year old coach, it still has mechanical issues and things to fix, but love the remodel still. -M
HI there - we would really love it if you called the RV Show USA with your question, so we can answer it on the show Wednesday - would you mind calling 1-855-296-7469 - and leave RVLOVE a voicemail message with your question. We would really appreciate it!
RVLove | Marc & Julie Bennett yes I will today
@@Rvlove Just left a message with my question. I use voice text often and realized I said the word period at the end of some of the sentences. I'm going brain dead from being in so much to avoid the virus.
Any more problems with the death wobble on the trail hawk?
Thanks for asking. Nope, no challenges with that at all since our last update/fix. Just the single occurrence ever actually -M
A travel question; one of my favorite roads in the Springs area the Shelf Rd/Gold Camp Rd to the Cripple Creek - Victor area. I’m wondering if you have ever taken that trip? It’s not the smoothest road but some of the views are assume, especially looking down on the Springs.
Thank you for the tip. We have not driven that road yet. We hope to get out on some great drives during our stay here this time though. -M
wow missed you guys all my best stay safe
Thank you. Yes... been pretty quiet, working on behind the scenes projects during the downtime when it didn't feel right to share our normal content. Wishing you safety and happiness too. -M
@@Rvlove we are getting very close to getting our new truck to tow our grand design 337 rl across the country may start early as in the end of June cant wait
Marc and Julie,
What do you think the RV industry looks like post COVID-19? Will there be people out and about RVing and travelling or will the industry go back to the 2008 / 2009 time? What have you been hearing from other RVers (full time or part time)?
We think the RV Industry is going to fair pretty well from this. The economy will definitely take a while to come back, but we think the RV industry will fair better than in 2008 because there is more awareness of RVing as a viable alternative to traditional life compared to then. BUT... even more positive for RV Industry is that it will shine as one of the best ways to travel, while maintaining control of your environment. When people do start traveling again, they are less likely to be flying, cruising, or staying in hotels. RVs allow people to travel with more sense of control and safety. Full timers might look for ways to feel more like they have a home base than in the past. But most we talk to still plan to stay full time, and many of our RV Success School students we talk to during our live calls are still excited to hit the road soon. If you want to learn more about our online school, here is a link.

@@Rvlove Marc, thanks for the prompt response. I was wondering if there was a way to PM you somehow. I wanted to ask for your opinion on a couple of things. I just spent last week binge-watching your entire CZcams channel. I just bought your book and am waiting for it to get delivered to start reading. Please stay safe in CO. Safe travels and all the best for the show.
HI there - we would really love it if you called the RV Show USA with your question below (even though Marc already answered it here) before Tuesday 4pm, so we can answer it on the show Wednesday - would you mind calling 1-855-296-7469 - and leave RVLOVE a voicemail message with your question. We would really appreciate it!
@@Rvlove I will do it asap. Thanks.
Saw the store in NYT. 👍
Great. We are very excited about it. Glad you saw it.-M
I watch as much of your channel as I can hoping something will rub off on me, I am starting my CZcams channel this Sunday ......1millionmileroadtrip....any helpful advise will be appreciated, I am a old guy, I guess an old dog can learn some new tricks.
Wishing you every success with your channel. Our advice is to only share when you feel inspired. Don't let it take over your travels. CZcams can be a lot of work.. -M
I'm in the UK and can't go out
Thanks for sharing. Yes, travel still restricted in many areas here in the USA too. Many states still in strict stay at home orders -M
Are you still happy that you purchased CC and remodeled her? Now that you have lived in CC for a while, are there things that you don’t like about CC?
We are still happy we bought the coach. We definitely love the remodel and the living area of the coach. BUT... we have needed to spend more time and money on fixes and repairs to the coach mechanically than we had expected. Fortunately, I (Marc) have been able to make many of the repairs myself, which has saved a lot of money. Glad it wasn't our first coach, and feeling that with all the repairs we have made, it should be pretty reliable for a while now. That said, part of the reason we are shopping other RVs is to mix up our travels. More content on that topic coming soon, now that we feel like we can get back to more regular content with travel restrictions starting to lift. -M
RVLove | Marc & Julie Bennett Thanks for the quick reply, Marc. We have been doing a little toying with the idea of going full-time again. (We were going to go full-time in 2013 when our son and daughter-in-law had a baby that had several holes in his heart in late 2012. So we put our dream on a hold so that we could help them.). We saw a Country Coach that was older and similar to CC - that’s what made me ask the question. Neither my husband or I are mechanics so that might be an issue for us if we ran into a lot of mechanical issues.
HI there - we would really love it if you called the RV Show USA with your question below (even though Marc already answered it here) before Tuesday 4pm, so we can answer it on the show Wednesday - would you mind calling 1-855-296-7469 - and leave RVLOVE a voicemail message with your question. RVLove | Marc & Julie Bennett - I called the number and left my name and area where I’m from and the question. I hope that this will help. Julie
How you guys doing?,, 40 days out the other side recovered. Feeling fine. Punch out the other side. Glad to see your good.
We're great! Were you sick with COVID? Glad to hear you are well!
Believe I got it back in late February, felt fine by mid March, not many symptoms. Just called doc office, still can’t get antibody test. By the way, great RV movie is up for rental “Leisure Seeker”, just outstanding.
@@steveharkins279 Strange you can't get the antibody test yet. But glad you are doing ok!. Oooh thanks we are wanting a good movie to watch! Thanks!
Was informed I can’t get a FDA approved test from my local health provider. Provider did say I could get an un-approved test off the common market for $100, will wait for FDA approved test.Great movie rental, tear jerker, was filmed in my two favorite places, Jekyll Island, and Florida Keys.
Getting back to your original request for questions. My question is for Dometic , how come you can not make air conditioning roof top units as power efficient as “mini-splits”? Half the energy for the same amount of cooling? Along the same.lines I busted on “Onan” that still too this day, can not do “Honda” on demand energy Eco throttle.
We have a Class C and I’m considering a “Toad”. I enjoyed your video about your Mini Cooper. I’ve enjoyed a Mini in the past. I’m looking at a 2005 Mini Convertible, 5 speed (not an S) with nearly 100K miles. I feel a four down tow is preferred due to convenience. Plz give me your thots and advice. Thanks in advance! I’d welcome a call should you think that is best. 336 972-3022.
four down towing is unquestionably easier, less weight, and more space efficient at your campsite. But, it is a significant investment considering the value of the car you are considering. Setting that car up to tow four down will cost almost as much as the car is worth (which was part of why we chose to tow on a dolly with ours). But if you plan to keep the car long term, it might still be worth that investment. -M
