    When you go wedding dress shopping for your brothers wedding will you vlog it or take a video of you showing off the dress. I’ve been so curious on that! Since I know any dress will look perfect on you 💗

    I don’t think you’ve ever said what you do with change? Or maybe you did and I missed it. Do you put it all in a jar and put it towards something else like maybe your debt? Or do you just keep it in your wallet and use it for whatever? I’m curious how you do that part bc we’ve all been focused on the whole dollar(s) part of it but not the change part. Please let me know, just curious!

      Dimez_7 she said on her IG stories she tosses it in a jar and once in a while takes it to coin star. she said sometimes she will put it towards debt, or use it for a envelope that needs a little extra cash or she uses it for things she didn’t originally budget for. i think she mentioned a copay she had to cover

    I looooove the way that pen writes 😭 I want to do something like this so bad but that means I’ll actually need to start working again. I need to learn how to balance school and work 😬 and maybe get a different job too

    I really want to go back to cash envelopes but I live in a city that does not have a physical building for my bank! I will have to pull everything out of an atm and get only 20s and 50s, what would you recommend? I also can’t pull it all at one time because of the limit on the atm

    I’m fairly new to budgeting as I am only 16 lol but I was wondering if you could let me know what a “debt snowball” is? I’ve got a guess but I don’t completely know

    • @happy-living2518
      @happy-living2518 Před 5 lety +2

      Idk lol -a debt snowball is paying off your debts (people or companies you owe money to) from smaller to larger balance. So she’s saving to pay off her debts. It’s Dave Ramsey’s method. Look him up on CZcams to learn about how to handle your finances!

    Does your company provide health insurance? Would it come out cheaper (pre-tax dollar deduction from your salary) if you do it with them vs. your parents insurance? Love seeing your channel grow!

    • @alyssamakesamigurumi
      @alyssamakesamigurumi  Před 5 lety

      My company does, but I turned it down the last time they offered due to the fact that I was on my parents insurance, and it was cheap. But it's income based insurance and now that my income is higher, it costs my family a lot more. So once open enrollment starts at my work again, I will be switching over to my company health insurance (if it's cheaper, which I think it will be )

  • @sarasolis5558

    Alyssa what do you do with your coin change?

    • @alyssamakesamigurumi
      @alyssamakesamigurumi  Před 5 lety

      I keep the coins in a zipper portion of my purse, and then when I get home I transfer them to a bowl/jar in my room. Once that jar is full I'll take it to coin star (or roll the coins and take them to the bank if I'm feeling up to it) and then that money is mine to spend on what I want! I can put it toward an envelope that is low, splurge on something I've been wanting, or put it toward my debt!

    Hi, great video. Very informative. I had a question about the cash envelope for items such as car insurance, health insurance, and other bills that are typically not paid in person. Do you go to your insurance company and pay in person? Thanks.

    • @alyssamakesamigurumi
      @alyssamakesamigurumi  Před 5 lety

      Hey there! the only reason those two are in cash is because I'm on my parents' car insurance and health insurance, so I just hand them the money every month. If it was paid online I'd have it as a part of my "transfer" section to go into my Capital One 360 account.
