I like when you count the totals in your envelopes and write it on the back but you haven’t done that in a while 😭😭
I've been so busy I don't even have the time to change the paper on the back of my envelopes 😂 I think I'll switch to having a card inside of them to keep track.

I’m also a college student living at home so your budget is super similar to mine. I’ve been trying to get on Dave Ramsey’s debt snowball for a while but all the CZcamsrs I was following were like, older adults with families and mortgages and all their envelopes were so confusing to me 😂 no shade to them but it’s nice to find someone around my age who also budgets. So thank you!
I'm glad!! Some people get irritated and say mine isn't realistic for them, but it's realistic for some people! And that's all I can do 😂 I think it'll be cool for you guys to see as my bills change and whatnot also

You can use a white out tape for when you mess up. I have to use one when I screw up or it bothers me. Nice job on the snowball amount!

Just a suggestion put extra funds to car principal amount. Will save you on interest.

So I need some help with the cash envelopes I'm new at this but I had a question. How do you start your cash envelopes if your behind on payments and when your trying to catch up on payments there isn't alot left over to budget? Thanks if your able to help or not.

Luv your videos. I also have capital one 360 account and really like it however when I do a transfer from my acct to capital it takes several days to post. How do you work around that? Maybe I’m inpatient and want to see the transaction faster rather then to wait to post them pay the bills.
Yes, mine does too and I will admit that I'm a little inpatient with it too! Honestly so far I've just been waiting.

We haven't seen a movie in two weeks now I think, but I believe we will on Wednesday! We saw five movies in the first billing month, so we definitely got our money's worth! Tickets are $10 each here so if we see two, any after that are sort of "free" 😊 We are loving it! Plus our theater is getting remodeled right now to get the reclining seats, so we're very excited for that!
Are you no longer doing your Disneyland food envelope?
I haven't contributed anything new to that envelope aside from my annual pass payment in a few months now! I think I have enough left in the envelope to last me the rest of the year. I have the pass where most of December is blocked off, and a week or so in November. So I most likely will maybe go 1-2 more times this year. Next year I'll probably incorporate a small savings for the Disneyland cash envelope per paycheck.

If I could put in a request, could you maybe make an in depth video talking about the capital one savings accounts? I’d love to learn more about it from you and even hear about your experience with them so far. I know you just started the accounts with them so maybe this could be a future video? I’ve been considering following your lead, but I also heard other videos talking about how long it takes for the money to transfer into those accounts and nobody talks about the interest rate if there is one. I will probably read up on it more but like I said earlier, I enjoy watching you discuss these matters so I can get someone else’s perspective. Thanks! :)

This is an uber personal question, but what debts do you have besides school, car payments, and phone/computer? Have you taken out any other loans?
My phone and computer are paid off, so now all I have is my car loan. I don't have any student loans.

She used to but most of her envelopes have filled up logs and she hasn't had time to replace them

@@alayshahelms8835 Currently I keep all my sinking funds in the bank because I don't have very many, so I kind of have to keep a notecard to keep track of them haha. I think if you're constantly taking money in and out, then it's a hassle, but if you're just saving up and not spending from certain envelopes, it may be helpful to keep a log that you fill every once in a while. I will say this, it might be better to not keep a log because then you aren't counting the money constantly and getting tempted to use it. It will be a pleasant surprise once you need to use it and realize how much you have! Ultimately it's your choice. Try it for some envelopes and not others, then see what you like better :)

Just a suggestion why don’t you add a Disney envelope for spending at Disney.
She used to have one. Now it's used for food at Disney and the membership is on capital one.
Cindi Bennett yes I know! I was suggesting a new Disney envelope for just spending at Disney so she’s not having to take from her regular spending! Made this suggestion since she no longer has a Disney cash envelope since the membership money comes out of her account.
Fowler Family her disneyland envelope was used for both spending at disney and the membership. so she does have one.
