This past Monday was a crazy, scary & stressful time for us in Galveston County. At 1:15am Hurricane Beryl walked into our area. I wondered how I could help my husband, daughter & Grandsons deal with the wrath of a monster. I prayed the power & cable would stay on long enough to erase what was hitting us outside. The 1st thing my youngest Grandson said let’s watch Mrs C from the beginning! Alec setup my IPad & magic happened! Even my 2 Boston Terrier’s sat & watched your every move! What I realized was your gentle voice caused us to forget everything that was happening. As transformers explosion, roof shingles flew off,trees fell & broke off we continued to watch every video until our power went out! I had tears as I watched my family relax & forget where they were at! Please remember when things are not flowing the direction we want we must take a different route! Thank you beautiful girlie! Congratulations to your son!♥️♥️♥️
God Bless You Miss Marilyn, I Pray You & Your’s Weathered the Storm without Major Complications & all are Safe. I watch Mrs. C for that exact Reason, always Positive (Minus the Occasional GrumpyAss Mr. C Sighting 😂).

@@mrsclinton our roof can be replaced but our 50+ year old trees cannot! Our trees were the protectors on our property. There were 84% of people without power in Galveston County. The power came back yesterday & we feel so blessed. Our generator preformed like a tank in the military. We had 3 other houses connected so we didn’t have AC through this heat. It was tough. Thank you for the lovely words. I know we live across the country from each other but 2 years ago I was in Noblesville Indiana. My sister in law lives there. We drove through your beautiful town & I didn’t realize you lived there! Life is funny like that! It really amazed me when you 1st started making videos how my Grandson’s have connected to your channel! It was so much fun going back to the beginning & watching them again. In Texas we believe kindness & good deeds prevail through people we connect to! We send our good energy towards everyone that listens! Hugs to you & continue to be your beautiful self!♥️♥️♥️

I surely can’t know all of it, but maybe that special June date etched in the swing, a first child/son graduating from high school… I mentioned to you way back early in your channel, my dad passed in 2013.., and have missed him everyday since…, some days more than others…, why would this bring tears to a 61 years young man’s eyes…, hahaha..!
I hope that vacation was what you needed to get you through those “rough” days…, if it wasn’t, well there’s always “Kevin’”, does he ever not have a smile and laugh going on..? And hearing Mr. C. tell you, you are the “best wife ever”…, pretty awesome.

Lovely vacation photos and phenomenal scenery and good company - the best 'pill' for recovery and recuperation after a very busy year. You did a fantastic job on this video Mrs Clint of C&C given your nerves and I'd say fear creeping in. All the boys were great and talkative.- especially Tucker and Hunter with their trucks (also Kevin). Your garden is beautiful and those kittens are beauties. Have an awesome week - the heat is awful from all accounts so keep cool and hydrated.

My aunt was washing her car a few years ago and didnt realize her little dog had jumped in the backseat and went to sleep. Well, 2 or 3 days went by and she was so upset because she couldnt find her dog and figured an animal ran off with it. That hot Texas sun pounding down on that car made it a not so nice discovery when she decided she was gonna drive her car again. She has a farm and usually drives her truck during the week and the car only gets used on the occasional weekend trip to town. Needles to say, the car had to get torn apart and new upholstery to get rid of the smell and stains.

Woo back in Vlog mode again, sometimes a 'reset' is needed. Going to have to train your crew to keep the roller doors down with new A/C going in, the 'leccy bill's going to be horrendous otherwise.. Tweety Bird has undergone quite a transformation (face lift) since last we saw him. Ginger and Snap are in a word, adorable. Kittens are just fun, and don't all of us need more fun in our lives? Outside kitties are protecting their turf from the young upstarts, forgetting that they, too, were upstarts at the start...Thanks for giving us a garden tour. Heat index of 103-107 degrees has destroyed our flowers (fried the dragons, wilted the day lilies, depressed the dipladenias; only the molies and ferns survive and thrive. Hummies are busy here, drinking at least eight ounces of nectar a day (love the beautiful porch swing and the memory of your father that you shared). I miss my dad every day. Remember, Mrs. C, how your life feels is more important than how it looks...Promise me that you will not let anyone dull your sparkle.
