That is 14 weeks of hauling and loading or 2800 hours of labor at a low of $25 per hour, which I don't think is even possible, that is $28,000 for two people working 40 hours a week. I'm guessing the labor would be double or even triple that amount but I will stick with that number for now. That is a total of $197,000 profit, not including the cost of equipment time (tractor/skid steer/etc and a truck and trailer). So if someone is willing to pay $400K for that, unless they know how to maximize the return on those cars besides just hauling them straight to the scrap yard, they are smarter than me or that guy is seeing value where there is none. I stumbled onto an old "junkyard" just like this when I was maybe 12 or 13 years old. I can still remember how the place gave me the creepiest vibe ever. Like more than just being really visually creepy, it was like I could feel it in my bones that this place had some bad energy attached to it. I'm not really the type to believe in that sort of thing had I not felt it myself. I poked around for just a couple minutes and then got the hell out of there, it just didn't feel like a good place to be exploring. I felt like that weird creeped out feeling stayed with me the entire rest of that day. I've explored lots of old junkyards, abandoned places and even old run down cemeteries, but I've never been anywhere else with such a creepy vibe. Anyway, glad you made it outta there alive Chris! 😄

Gary is a real motivational speaker 😉 that place is quite literally a junkyard, very few restorable projects that's for sure. This was quite interesting thanks for bringing us along ✌️🇺🇲
My uncle had a car crusher on a flat bed. He goes to these old time junkyards and crushes them for scrap.
that's kinda sad but if the cars he crushes are as bad as these then I suppose there's basically only scrap value there

Incredible amount of scrap. 400k with all cars removed to be able to sell the property for 2.4mil is solid imo. Total of 2.8mil not to shabby

I mean... I'm not sure if Chris realizes it but this video is pure comedy! Between Grumpy Gary who's probably pissed he worked all his life in the yard hoping he'd get the business at some point but he won't and now has to show the property arround and the owner who's asking 400k for a pile of junk worth at best 100k in scrap and some contamined soil lands, this was quite the show!

@@NNKH2 I met an old guy like that once. Had a lot full of old rusted cars that he was "going to restore one day". Turned down plenty of decent offers for them and when he died a few years later all the cars were still sitting there, rusting into the ground.

This video was like playing the tutorial of a random RPG game where youi have to follow a strange character around "learning" stuff.
I stumbled onto an old "junkyard" just like this when I was maybe 12 or 13 years old. I can still remember how the place gave me the creepiest vibe ever. Like more than just being really visually creepy, it was like I could feel it in my bones that this place had some bad energy attached to it. I'm not really the type to believe in that sort of thing had I not felt it myself. I poked around for just a couple minutes and then got the hell out of there, it just didn't feel like a good place to be exploring. I felt like that weird creeped out feeling stayed with me the entire rest of that day. I've explored lots of old junkyards, abandoned places and even old run down cemeteries, but I've never been anywhere else with such a creepy vibe.
