That is a beautiful looking Skoda (and I never thought I'd ever say that) They've been very good cars for years now but always looked a bit ugly at the front but this looks sweet. A proper sleeper!!!

They can't make them as good looking as VW or Audi or sales will go down in their flagship stuff
We can't get them here in the states, but all of the Skodas I've seen weren't much to look at. This one looks fantastic.
When they do customer satisfaction surveys Skoda always came out above Audi/VW/Seat. It was just the front ends (I think it was the grill design and badge being way too big) that always used to put me off them, but this one is definitely carrying it off a treat.
@ yeah that's why we like them in the UK. They are cheaper, but still basically a VW/Audi etc. Originally they were bad cars but since the 90s they've just got better and better.

Timmy Mallet you do realise the Octavia, superb, the a3, and the golf (as well as the sport versions) are all the EXACT same car, same chassis etc, but the Skoda is £8k cheaper. You’d be an idiot to buy anything else

@@chrisredfield3240 They are 17" and why they are so small is weight. 1kg in unsprung mass is same as 6kg. So if the wheels are 20kg lighter than stock ones then he saves 6 x 20kg =120kg in weight.

Prezes P you’re right. I was planning to buy an A4, but realised Skoda Superb is virtually the same car, with German quality, and cost lot less. Had a test drive on a Superb, and decided there and then, what I wanted.

@@virtualoskii6341 It's not shit at all, I've owned Audis and SEATs and the build quality is barely different.. I've a Revo stage 1 2019 Octavia VRS 245 DSG (321hp/344ft-lb).. It's considerably cheaper to buy and insure than an S3 or Golf R and will shit on them on a roll. It's pretty funny actually.
@@stokecityyouth I'll be going stage 3 in mine once I get the ground work done. Easy and pretty cheap 440+bhp for a fraction of the cost of a golf r or s3/rs3 plus its quite rare whilst everyone is doing vw/Audi 😩🤚

@@farcry8648 that debate rages. I think even with high boost 3k is considered a short enough span. On a na engine 5 if you were incredibly finicky. I've seen some opinions from those that work in developing motor oils and they insist modern class 5 oils should not degrade in 10k miles if not a turbo engine. how much containment from combustion bi-products would build up at that point adding friction is another question altogether.

Love the videos. just some friendly criticism, would love to see some speedo shots like 0-60 or 0-100 gives more of an idea of how quick these cars are (on a “private road” obviously 😉) keep up the good work.
Appreciate that he shows the rate of acceleration that he does. Its so easy to incriminate yourself in these videos. It takes a shit load of hard work on the editing side when you take that into consideration.

Omg, the Skoda Superb has been my 2nd favourite car since I was a kid, really happy to see someone tuning it. Always amazed how cheap cars are in other countries, 70k pounds is like $120,230.28 in my country.
A Skoda superb base model is $124,900 or 72,721.78 pounds, $153,900 or 89,602.99 pounds for a L&K .
