Skoda Superb 2.0 TSI as fast as a Golf GTI? - Chip Tuning by RaceChip

The new Skoda Superb we’ve tested has a 2.0 TSI engine with 272 HP in stock. The same engine is also used in the current Passat and will be used among other Volkswagen models.
The Superb is basically the bigger sibling of the VW Passat and with our RaceChip GTS Black the 2.0 TSI engine becomes a lot more powerful. With now 340 HP it has more power than a Golf R in stock conditions, which should make it very interesting to see how the Skoda performs in our acceleration test from 100 - 200 km/h. Will this be as fast as a Golf GTI considering its weight?

A Superb 280, tuned, lowered sport suspension (really needed over stock), nice rims underneath.... that's a lot of car for a moderate amount of money, imho.

I just want to tell all interested to install Racechip, I installed it on my 2019 VW Arteon 2.0 tsi Racechip RS no bluetooth 3 weeks ago .
I am very happy so far because i got the same effect on my car as Skoda Superb.
What I can tell you is car runs smoother and faster with Racechip and slightly better fuel consumption ( aporox. 10 % ) on regular driving.
I tried all settings ( 1-6 ) on racechip and what I figured out is #4 is optimal for power/fuel ratio, #6 is most powerfull but fuel consumption is like factory stock car.

I have here in Canada 2019 VW Arteon with the same engine as Skoda with only 4000 km on it.
I am planning to buy RaceChip RS
My questions for you :
1.Will you ship it from USA or Germany ?
2.Will I get simular performance as Skoda ?
3.Should I follow step by step install each time I unplug chip ( I will unplug when going to VW service to keep warranty )

1) The product will be shipped from Germany
2) Since in the Arten, it's exactly the same engine with the same HP and torque numbers, the tuning will behave identical
3) It's always recommended to stick to our installation guide but after you installed in once, you'll probably remember where the required sensor plugs et cetera are in your engine bay. The app will stay connected to the RaceChip even if you de- and afterwards re-install it.
What will the A45 S amg run 0 - 60 mph with GTS Black racechip ?
We didn't test it, because of the bad weather conditions (snow, winter tyres, wet road etc.) But from experience and testing with other cars I would assume it would be around 0.4 - 0.7 seconds faster.
Which should i take? This or the ford focus st 2020 also wagon?

You jut have to go to their webesite and no it wont effect your fuel efficiency it will give you a better fuel efficiency infact
I have the gts chip installed in my stinger gt and having a lot of problems at the moment of acceleration, it shows mechanical failure, I’ve tried everything your support team told me but no change. I haven’t had any answer from them since 1 week.

how does chip respond to driving modes
Driving modes are not affected by the installation of a RaceChip performance boost since performance is increased in all modes.

Why you tested it in manual mode (M4 GEAR), you should start in M3 GEAR, that car goes about 140 km/h in 3rd gear
That 272 has a 7 speed. The older 280 6 speed yes should be at M3.
Absolutely right. There is another video on CZcams with a 100-200 time measured and they do it in Sport instead on manual and in 3rd gear...16.2 seconds.
After install and removal before service, would I keep my car warranty?

Please stop saying its just a Skoda! that Skoda costs more in top trim that a Golf R estate in the UK....i know, i have one!
That's why we were saying it :) People always assume that those are "just" Skoda cars but they're often more premium, more fast and more expensive than you would think. Even though I still think it's crazy value for money, thinking about the fact that the Superb is way bigger than a Golf Variant.
@@RaceChipChiptuning I have just had my 272 OPF version stage 1 tunned here in the UK, and it made 346bhp so just over 70bhp increase from stock. Its certainly a very quick car.
