I once attempted a no-hit ORAS run and it was absolutely miserable lol. I let myself save whenever I wanted to, but it was still miserable. I even did the Delta Episode hitless. I don't think I have the willpower to do something like this again lol.
Yeah I feel this. Most of the run was painful and just a grindy mess, but I felt really good once it was finally finished. I hope you felt the same way at the end!

@@amf909 considering you can turn a level 2-5 mon into a beast that can probably defeat the Elite Four, let's go should be the easiest for this kind of challenge. tbh I might try that myself.

Yeah, it sucks how so many people dismiss 7th gen as "super easy" just because it's a newer-gen game. USUM especially did a good job at making the Totems and Boss Trainers even harder, and gave more EVs and IVs and better movesets and strats to more bosses compared to the original SM. Especially if you don't use the Exp. Share. It's obviously not CRAZY difficult if you’re some pro Nuzlocker or something, but if you're a normal player and don't have a Pokémon that can cheese through a tough battle, then you're definitely gonna get a good challenge out of it.
@@komarunaegi7460 This. While I don't think being easy is a bad thing, (if it was not a single soul would like Kirby) I do think the challenge is welcome. The totem lurantis battle is the first fight in the series I consistently struggled with.

@@komarunaegi7460 USUM was better and harder but I think it's the fact that the game was just a slight remake of the others which was a huge turn off for a lot
@@cammy649 That’s fair, that’s the same reason a lot of people didn’t like USUM. I didn’t really care personally since I liked Yellow, Crystal, Emerald, and Platinum, and tbh USUM changed about as much as Platinum did overall.
I. Love. This. Video. Alola is my favorite region and I think it's very underrated. This whole video looks amazing and it's clear you did your research and worked hard. Great job! I liked and subscribed aswell. And if I had to suggest another challenge video, how about Pokemon Black/White, but it's a Water Type only-run!

I had pokemon X and ultra moon but my 3DS XLs screen turned off and it's always just a black screen when I turn it on and no Matter how long it's on the charger it won't work

This was very well made, and if I could suggest a challenge, how about X and Y but you cant use stab moves.

Whats a stab move?
Move that matches the type of the pokemon (same type attack bonus), these moves get 1.5 times stronger
The way Gladion comes down in the elevator always makes me laugh, he looks ridiculous
I hate how everyone always complains about how easy the games are. This guy brings up a good point, it's easy for the sake of everyone being able to beat the game. If you're looking for a challenge, you can do something like this or a nuzlocke. Still though, I do wish they would've added a hardmode or something.
Gotta love how the people developing the games really said "you want difficulty fine" *makes the ultra games* "have fun!" *laughs evily knowing ultra necrozma exists*
I personally also really enjoyed the totem battles, I thought it was an interesting change and were rather tough especially since moon was my first time playing through a game. Awesome video keep it up!
I actually thought sun and moon was harder lol. As a kid playing sun and moon, Lurantis took me quite a few tries, and I couldn't even get past mimikyu. When I played usum though, it was much easier and I just cheesed necrozma with poison damage.
@@cacomelon4768 I mean fair I never had a poison pokemon on my team then 😂 and lurantis was definitely a challenge, honestly had a hard time with almost all the totems when I was younger
When I played USUM and got to Ultra Necrozma, I had to tag in a veteran pokemon lmao
*MeWho lead with Metagross/Magnezone in each UM/US* : "Wait, you guys had problems with Ultra Necrozma?"
This would have been even more of a mess in USUM due to the stronger Pokémon and more varied AI tactics.

No, it's impossible, since you don't get a free turn after a kill, so trainers with more than 1 Pokemon are impossible

This honestly brings me back and makes me want to relay Sun moon, it was my first official Pokémon game on an actual console and i had so much fun. It’s over hated because it’s not Gen 4 but it’s a fun time that can get hard once you get to the battle tree. Good lord that was difficult.

I never knew Gen 7 trainers had EVs. I thought they just had IVs but I guess that explains why Nanu’s Persian always OHKO’d or 2HKO’d all of my Pokémon when it’s only got base 75 Sp. Atk.

It's easier, all you need is a zorua/zoroark and a poison or fighting type. Ultra necrozma is not smart enough to deviate from only psychic moves fortunately

I don’t think gen 7 is easy as you said. The totems are more difficult and strategic than almost any gym battle, Lusamine, Guzma (although more so in USUM) are pretty difficult and the elite four is above average.

Haunter is better than Drifblim since it has better Sp. Atk and Speed and the same immunities. Mimikyu would’ve been cool though.

I would love to play 3ds games, but i've only got(Right now, i had the other ones, but i've lost them). I only have Ultra Moon, but i don't want to lose all the boxes i have, and they're a lot of Pokémon, and the score on the battle tree. Would love to play a 6th Generation game
I tried it on my phone but it doesn't even open and was a pain to get any of the games and the emulator.
I tried to play on a 3ds emulator, but it went so slow that it was unplayable, unless i returned to the battle tree

What update in the game do you need to swich the time for poke pledgo.
it needs to be before v1.2, but you can reverse the update on a 3ds if you have a physical cartridge. Go to settings, Data Management, 3DS, and Downloadable Content, then delete the data for sun and moon. That should delete the update stuff.

Tip: do grinding when you have your first pokemon
Yeah saving whenever will cut out a lot of real life time spent on the challenge, so do what you got to do man.
Also I have a question if have a isle evelup level 1 how much exp do they give you.
It's really slow at level 1, only awarding 50 per session. That means in 24 hours(48 30-minute sessions), you'll only get 1200 exp. It's best when you get it to level 3, when it awards 300 per session
