How about another half tube on that mount hinged with the other one and an over center latch? Might need a couple of rubber or bushing pieces in there to make it work. Maybe too much work, but it sure would speed up removing that mount and make it possibly tool-less. There might be a half round wire over center latch too….
@benjaminreinhardt259 this system has a power assist ram and being able to have a bit more fluid capacity in the PS pump reservoir helps . The extended neck also helps keep the fluid from splashing out when off angle.

What is your reasoning for running an extended neck on the power steering pump? I haven't seen that done before.
