My brother has deadly food allergies and when my family was informed of this when he was around a year old, the doctors gave me a fake epi pen for me to practice on him in case I was the one who needed to administer it. He’s 3 years younger than me so I was around 4 when this happened. It was very valuable for me to know that even as a young kid, I could save his life if I ever needed to. He is now 20 and has never needed to use one but he still always carries one.

When working as a camp counselor, we had to practice using epi pens on each other with fake ones before we started work every year. Never had to use it, but I did have to lecture a parent that their kid couldn’t be in my class after telling me she was allergic to cats and dogs. I worked with farm animals, and the kid was sneezing like crazy a few yards away from the animals.

I live in Colorado where the air is thinner than other places, so when I go to a concert and see musicians perform who aren’t from our altitude, the well prepared musicians come with different oxygen boosting capabilities to help combat the altitude. I’ve seen nebulizer type devices, to these cans of boost. Yes they can be abused by idiots but to completely dismiss it by saying there is oxygen all around. Idk.

My 2nd transplant the kidney always worked as if it was stage 3 kidney failure but stayed stable at that and lasted 10 years and at that point I would have to bring that up. Isn't the Oxygen to go thing normally for people that go up to places with thinner air, but aren't accustomed to it? Like if you visit your aunt that lives in a town in a large mountain, then if you try to do the same exercise that you normally do, you will get out of breath much faster due to less oxygen in the air. These would basically let you get a boost of oxygen to keep you going more comfortably.
It's a really niche product thought, since the people that live up there are already used to it and don't need it, and so it's only useful for visitors or newcomers. It's useless for anyone else anywhere else.
