I know people get sick of hearing it, but it's even more true now than ever: the midterms coming up are *incredibly important*. I'm sure you have a nuanced understanding of American politics and all, but establishment conservatives (i.e. The ones taking lobbyist money sent from corporate interests) have always opposed trump. Trump is a wildcard that cannot be controlled. You may have liked Hillary, you may have liked Sanders, but the truth of the matter is this. Hillary thrives on corporate greed and government expansionism, and Bernie wants to steal the economic viability of future generations to illicit votes of those who made poor decisions in becoming debtors in a system of of decreasing higher educational worth. Trump was the right guy at the right time.

I'm a Christian, but holy shit, why do we let people make policy based on religious beliefs? It's a huge conflict of interest. If you can't separate religion and public policy in your mind, you need to reccuse yourself, at least for that policy decision. And I would respect the hell out of that.
