I have an opportunity to buy one of these this weekend, same color, same year. Pretty much identical to yours. Can't wait to own the thing. I think it's one of the best looking bikes out there.
@@childfree83 nice, I missed my 06 enough that I went and bought a 95 with only 2800 miles. Unfortunately I got in a bad accident back in February. I walked away but the bike was super totaled. Insanely enough I kinda want another one, this time I’ve got my eye out for a 1400 if the price is right.
You should rejet it if you debaffle or it will back fire and miss a little .others have said the same. Mine did also until I rejected it. I’m also looking for a sissy bar, I’ve looked on e bay amazon and used bike parts and had no luck. I may try Suzuki dealer and look under intruder vs 800. Hope this helps.
2 questions, do your pipes have the baffles cut out, and if so did you have to rejet it? And ive been looking a sissy bar for the s50 but can only find ones for c50'and M50's.
The s50 is fast for a midsize cruiser i go 0 to 60 in under five seconds well I have a stock one that comes with the cobra pipes because it’s the sport and I took the sportster 1200 and blew it out of the water I know you don’t race cruisers but I would say if he’s been riding their bikes his whole lifeGo with the boulevard if he hasn’t been riding motorcycles dirt bikes for wheelers this whole life then I would go with the shadow because it doesn’t have nearly as much pep my buddy got a shadow and I got the 805S 50 and I’m 125 pounds and I got me on video doing 0 to 60 and it’s in between 4.9 Nd 5.1seconds Going from 0 to 60
He loves the boulevard and runs circles around me on the shadow. And I’m going from memory but I believe legit that I have or should I say the jet kit that I have is a Vance and Hines I can’t remember what size the main jet is it’s not the largest it’s backed off one size down I bought the kit for about 65 bucks at JP cycles
I wish Suzuki still made these. Best bikes ever. Miss mine. Mine was a 1995
Nice sport bike.. wish they still made them and in a Fuel Injected Version
Just picked up a white 2007… so clean looking and sounds great.

Nice I hope to be getting one of them.
love s50
I used to have a 06’ s50, bought it from the original owner. It was the first real road bike I owned. I kinda miss that bike.
Yeah Cody I really like mine and so does my 16 yr old son . If I could just keep him under 85 mph I would be pleased
I just picked up a 2006 with 17,500 miles for 2800

Were you able to find a sissy bar? Also looking for one for mine without being able to find one
@@peachfuzss7548 Suzuki dealership has a generic one that will fit
Is this the original muffler? the sound loud a bit ,the new one to the right side above each other

I debaffled mine and yes I too would like the factory sissy bar but am having the same problem as you. Just keep checking salvage part facilities
Hi Tommy, I’m wondering if you still have the s50. Im looking for one and I’m wondering how yours has held up?
I still have my S 50 is out there in the garage and it’s going strong and very reliable and sporty if you get one I think you’ll like it
@@tommyharper8924 Thanks for the reply. 👍.
Need a set of Cobra pipes.
Two pipes on one side look better my opinion, no miss no backfire, no rejetting
Cobra pipes would sound better but it don’t sound bad for debaffled stock.
At what point should the fan kick on... Mine does not come on
I’m not sure exactly what temperature. Probably around 200 degrees. I know that mine does when I’m stopped in traffic
Do you consider 74,000 a lot of mileage in this bike to be considered!
Yes
The entire bike would need an overall tuneup

I smoked the 5.0 Mustang all the way up to about 95 miles an hour on the interstate on the boulevard it is a PIP a little bike
I have the same exact bike. same paint and all. put no baffle straights on it though. adjusted the carbs and it sounds BEEFY
Oh yeah, got to have the rumble sound
What’re you about 5’5”?
