After more than thirty years of service as one of the Navy’s top aviators, Pete “Maverick” Mitchell (Tom Cruise) is where he belongs, pushing the envelope as a courageous test pilot and dodging the advancement in rank that would ground him. When he finds himself training a detachment of TOP GUN graduates for a specialised mission the likes of which no living pilot has ever seen, Maverick encounters Lt. Bradley Bradshaw (Miles Teller), call sign: “Rooster,” the son of Maverick’s late friend and Radar Intercept Officer Lt. Nick Bradshaw, aka “Goose.”
Facing an uncertain future and confronting the ghosts of his past, Maverick is drawn into a confrontation with his own deepest fears, culminating in a mission that demands the ultimate sacrifice from those who will be chosen to fly it.

It's crazy to me how much Miles Teller looks like Anthony Edwards in this, they did a good job with the casting casting for this movie
???
@@TruTube.1. right?
He looks nothing like Timberwolves basketball star
@@MeowgiMan Who?
@@anakinskywalker4325 Anthony Edwards
We just ignoring the fact that Maverick was outside in this scene and was have flash back of Goose.that broke my heart 😢
Yep
Exactly I was thinking about it 🥲😂
They did this to avoid spoilers of that scene
I literally cried deep inside my heart.
nah maverick already walked off by this point lol
As a musician who plays with sunglasses I truly do appreciate the depicted realism of the sunglasses slowly slipping to the point you have to tilt your head back so they dont fall.
i mean he was actually playin the piano soooo
That's just doing anything with glasses
The vocals were his, too...he's credited accordingly on the soundtrack.
the fact that his face is covered with sweat, and the glasses is slowly sliding down.
Literally😂
this movie was honestly the best movie i have seen in a long long time, i loved every aspect of it. Maverick and Roosters relationship in this movie was so amazing to see
The picture of them together on the sacred "Goose" wall was really the perfect final shot for the movie.
He didn't let Goose down like he promised.
i found the ending slightly cliche but honestly i feel like the suited the movie and there wasnt really a better way to do it
this movie was awesome
The first one is better and will it always be... 😍
@@lewiswallner9079 well of course, first is always better
This will always be an iconic scene.
Stunning performance.
Teller can act and play piano and drums! This man is such a talent and perfect casting for Goose's son.
He is an awesome dancer as well
@@elhametefaghi3263 Yeah! He is 😎.
Actually he can be the perfect elvis in a movie he looks like him like his elvis's son, plus ge can sing
@@laxusplays4036 Probably, But Austin did amazing and deserves a Oscar Nomination.
@@elhametefaghi3263 Yes I remeber him from footloose from 2011 🥰🥰
Miles Teller is a perfect for the role as Rooster. He looks like his dad Goose in Top Gun 1986 movie.
He does. Ohmg. I almost cried!
Oh yeah. When he and Maverick are running to go steal that F-14, Teller looks so much like Goose in that moment it’s uncanny.
This movie was incredible. When they release a box with both movies im buying it, No matter the price.
Only Thing is i wish i had a friend that loves the top gun movies as much as myself.
Hey you got a Friend in me
I WILL BE THAT FRIEND!!!!!!!!
8th time bro 😂
Hey my name is Miles and I love Top Gun too. Also I want to be a Navy pilot so guess I’m your friend 😃
Watching it in big screen tv or projector would be good
He’s so talented, acts, sings, plays piano, dances!
Also the drums, see Whiplash.
@@magnuskno , nooo, I'll have to rewatch whiplash! 🙀
@@magnuskno "NOT MY TEMPO"
@@magnuskno Not really.
He also plays the saxophone and the guitar. As far as I know he got piano and saxophone lessons when he was younger. The guitar I don't know, but he started to play the drums when he was a teenager.
@Alpha Nerd
Yes, he really does. Not professionally. But that doesn't take away from the fact that his drumming skills got him the part in whiplash. No doubt.
"Trust your instincts. Don't think, just do"
Maverick: What are you thinking?!
Rooster: You told me not to think 😂
I thought Tom showed such skill to show the pain he felt for loosing goose. Put a lump in my throat watching that scene. A true actor can do that without saying anything. The emotion it brought out in the audience is truly awesome. Thanks Tom.
FINALLY!
they didn't put it in the movie, just some parts.
Would’ve taken away from the flow of the movie
Hello thanks for your love ❤️ and support I really appreciate it ✌️🌹
Was waiting for this scene
Miles teller is the perfect choice for this role. He’s absolutely adorable and even though he wasn’t born when the original movie was shown he’s the ideal person for goos’s son. This is definitely the role of a lifetime for him. He’s an incredible actor. Well done Miles.
Where did they find an actor that looked so much like Goose? This guy is amazing. He really pulled it off playing Goose son👍
Funny enough Hangman actor wanted to be Goose's son
Imagine him with the moustache lol
@@guts-141 they should have had hangman be the son of iceman. Looks similar enough and has a similar attitude of ice in the original
The director of the Maverick has worked with Miles Teller before. I was just luck and good casting
@@justinwhatcott5581 i have read this somewhere else saying hangman is indeed iceman's son. Though it is not confirmed.
@@justinwhatcott5581 I actually thought Hangman was more like Maverick in the original movie. They're both overly cocky and not very good team players.
Rooster on the other hand was more like Iceman. He was more calculating and less apt to take a shot or make a move unless he knew he had it.
Glad miles finally getting the recognition he deserves
Like father like son
Just watched this movie yesterday. Such a painful scene.
The movie was perfect, felt like a good 90s 2000s movie with a little bit of 2020s.♥️
I miss movies like this. Finally watched one. 🖤😌
This movie made Maverick one of my all time favorite silver screen characters. They crammed over 30 years of plot and history into his dialogue so simply and implicitly. These writers really made Top Gun bigger than a movie.
i saw this movie again last night. i have’t watch a movie more than once while in its first release, in many years.
Cruise had his oscar moment finally when talking to Ice about letting go. ‘i don’t know how’ brilliant.
just brilliant.
I saw 7 times. I honestly think the movie and cast. And music will win some Oscar’s.
I wish when I play this song in my piano people would do the same as they do with rooster.
count me in!😉
Maybe, if you as goodlooking as him
@@czer096 Whoops
@@czer096 😄😄😄😄
Its the room. Military always ready for party. Any military .
You have no idea how happy I am that there's a full version of this scene
When I go to a bar I break into a 50s song and the whole crowd knows the lyrics and instantly joins in.
I love how Teller is struggling to keep his sunglasses from falling. True dedication to the song and the scene!
Like father like son...even if its just the movies...iconic scene of Top Gun! 😎👍🙌❤
Maverick’s flashback was just so heartbreaking
Miles’s voice is powerful. Love it.
Mile Teller can play the drums and now the fricking piano this guy is talented af
He is a fantastic drummer !
Well, he learned to play the piano first. The piano and the saxophone. Later came the guitar and drums. Definitely talented af.
Movie is outstanding! Myles Teller knocked it out of the park in many ways.
My take on this scene; Maverick looks in with pride, initially and then sadness. Penny " gets" Pete; so obvious. When she sees him looking in with a heavy heart, her face reveals what she knew.
Of course she knew. Her dad was the captain when the accident happened. Even if her dad didn't tell her, it was probably the talk of all of Top Gun for awhile. Especially if they put in procedures to prevent something like that happening again.
@@NikWinchester95 I'm sure that Penny heard something. I am guessing that she had to be 17 to get Mav put into hack.
What they hid from the accident assessment in 1986 is that the Jet Wash that caused the accident in the first place was caused by Iceman. Watch the movie again.
Iceman and Maverick were 2 points apart from the Top Gun trophy. The scene is in the air; Maverick is cursing Iceman out for not letting him by and was on his tail when the Jet Wash occurred yielding the engine failure and uncontrollable spin.
As far as Penny; she gets him. I think she knew that he couldn't commit.
Miles nailed it!
Hello thanks for your love ❤️ and support I really appreciate it ✌️🌹
@@thomascruise8683 u not the real Tom Cruise
Can we talk about Lewis Pullman? He is adorable 😍❤️
Powerful scene and it takes you right back to the first Top Gun with emotion!
No matter what you think of Miles this dude is crazy talented it's all these idiots saying he's cringe you are fools who can't recognize good talent
Why did I have the feeling through the entire film that there is a history between Rooster and Phoenix?!?
Miles teller he is so cute and so smart and so funny and so kind I want to meet him so bad he is so good looking
Miles Teller is so talented! I look forward to his future roles.
I've seen it six times in theatre including 4dx and Imax. Top Gun was my fav movie as a child. I waited decades for the sequel to come out.
That's what Top Gun would be if it was a musical :D
Hello thanks for your love ❤️ and support I really appreciate it ✌️🌹
Miles acts, sings, looks hot in beach scenes what can't this man do?
何回観ても、泣けてくるぜ…
Bob singing along in the background gets me every time at the end, so adorable
This is such an emotional and touching scene. One of my favorite movie scenes in recent memory🖤
He got the tempo
I don't get what's so great about this song
Its kind of ridiculous to assume that not just one, but an entire roomful of young pilots would know that song well enough to play it on the piano and sing every word.
Tom cruise acting and the flash back scenes were 👏👏👏👏
One of the best scenes of the movie
[Verse 1]
You shake my nerves and you rattle my brain
Too much love drives a man insane
You broke my will
But what a thrill
Goodness gracious, great balls of fire!
[Verse 2]
I laughed at love 'coz I thought it was funny
You came along and you moved me, honey
I've changed my mind
This love is fine
Goodness gracious, great balls of fire!
[Chorus]
Kiss me, baby
Mmmmh, it feels good
Hold me, baby
Well, I'm off to love you like a lover should
Oh! You're fine, so kind
Got to tell this world that you're mine, mine, mine, mine
[Verse 3]
I chew my nails and then I twiddle my thumbs
I'm real nervous, but it sure is fun
Come on, baby
You drive me crazy
Goodness gracious, great balls of fire!
[Piano Solo]
[Chorus]
Well, kiss me, baby
Mmmmh, it feels good
Hold me, baby
Well, I'm off to love you like a lover should
You're fine, so kind
Got to tell this world that you're mine, mine, mine, mine
[Verse 3]
I chew my nails and I twiddle my thumbs
Real nervous, but it sure is fun
Come on, baby
You're driving me crazy
Goodness gracious, great balls of fire!
Top de mais Miles grande ator,se superou no papel de Rooster...
God when Maverick ia having flashbacks to Goose its like a goddamn sledgehammer to the heart. This is a man who loat his best friend and watched his son grow up and despite his best efforts to protect his friends son he still managed to become a pilot and face the same dangers. And that son now hates him for holding him back. Like damn ny heart just breaks thinking about what both Maverick and Rooster go through
This movie is just, like. Has no words to describe. Each scene, each characters are like outstanding and fabulous. I was a bit concerned that will top gun maverick will make up like the first part but after watching the movie, i felt so good and nostalgic. This movie is sort of an emotion to all tom cruise fans and cinephiles. Thank u paramount and tom cruise and all the cast to make this fantastic sequel.
I saw the movie and I loved it's so amazing, it's beautiful, Miles acted so well doing the Rooster, It was perfect
The acting , the cinematography and the emotion is pure perfection in this part of the movie 👏👏👏 . Top Gun Maverick is really incredibly .
I. love. This. Songgggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg
So iconic! I love this peak so much💗
What a Talent!!!!!
Drums, piano and can sing. I’m impressed miles teller
I watched OG Top Gun day before I saw this as a refresher. I cried during this scene.
RIP MASTER
I'm wholeheartedly in love with this man
This is one of the greatest movies ever made i never get bored of it and so happy i had bought it on DVD and i love how they made it it's just awesome
What a vibe!
This is now a part of my daily routine, thanks Miles
This scene is the saddest scene in this movie
I cried the most in this scene😢
I have listened to my his sooooooo many times
This is like the best song ever especially with Rooster/Miles Teller singing it
Am I the only one that thought Rooster and Phoenix had something going on lmao
No you are not the only one but they seem to be really great friends
MOVIE OF THE YEAR! 'Miles' ahead of anything else that has come out this year!!!!
Miles teller was perfectly casted for this!
Top gun maverick was a good movie
Im happy this exists!!
This just made me smile go miles
Legit the best movie I’ve ever watched and the best sequel ever invented. I’ve went to see it 5 times now and I’m gonna keep going until they stop playing it LOL
It's refreshing to see casting that is so spot on you think two actors are related.
Rather than the usual miscast that's more common nowadays where an actor looks nothing like who they're supposed to play.
The only other movie that made me feel what I felt while watching Top Gun Maverick was Pacific Rim. Two great movies with amazing action and stories. 10/10 and cudos to everyone who worked on this movie
マジでこのシーンは泣けた
This movie is the best comeback ever unlike matrix the cast the story it is a all in one package for me
Saw this movie while on a boys trip with my son to the States. Great movie but will always remind of of a special few days we shared.
I cried sm at this scene because of mavrick remembering goose it broke my heart
I like how Bob was just sipping water out of a solo cup the whole time
Movie fun fact! You can actually see someone, (Coyote, I believe) offer him a bottle of budweiser right after Hangman takes his cue stick, and he waves it away with his hand.
Fletcher :"good job"
このシーンから涙腺崩壊でした
This was an epic film.
I still haven’t seen this film i just watched the first one today but this son and scene are now going to be iconic
one of the best movies i've seen in a while. epitome of blockbuster
Incredible scene. We all got emotional remembering Goose.
Like father like son!
"Rooster rooster rooster rooster!!!!!" *Does the cutest little dancie dance you've ever seen*
Movie of the year
He can play drums AND piano. Guy can do it all.
This movie brought back the greatness of movies had, today’s movies are horrible
Miles and Anthony should do this together, get a rooster and goose moment that we will never get
the most impressive part in this is that he was shaking his head too much without the glasses falling
Parabéns vocês fizeram um excelente filme, eu gostei!
It's not the song , it's the atmosphere
Such a good scene
It’s unfair how awesome this movie is.
When I saw Miles in The Spectacular Now I told my husband he'd be a star. He's crazy talented. Love his voice in this song.
I loved The Spectacular Now!! Such a good movie. ❤️
Wow this makes me remember the song from Topgun1 36 years ago !!!!!
I love this !!!!
Love this
I love this scene 🎹😆
