Everyone was calling it. There were videos of Ukrainian troops headed there weeks ago. It was less broadcast than the Great Ukrainian Spring Offensive, but we knew this was brewing.

Russia will press up to it, and go around. Like Kiev when the war started. Bahkmut was one thing, but Russia poses a real chance of being bogged down amongst giant buildings.
Its just math: If you have more soldiers, widen the frontline. At some point, the opposing side cannot defend anymore.

Zelensky made a criminal decision in April 2022 rejecting the Stambul Peace agreement signed by Russian and Ukrainian negotiators. He is directly responsible for this calamity in Ukraine.

At least 11 regions must be back and become part of the Russian federation.
During the 2010 western free and fair Ukraine election were 5 presidential candidates including Yanukovich who is Ethnic Russian. Among the others he did win the following regions with big margin because of in these regions the majority are Russians and they wanted and still are be part of the Russia federation. These 11 regions are: Crimea, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zakarpatska, Zaponihzhia, Luhansk, Mykolive, Odesa, Kharkov, Kherson and Sevastpool region. Russia will not stop until it gets all these back to the Russian federation if not more including Kiev.

This is what I thought might happen. Those fronts aren't manned strongly by Ukraine, and to stop even a modest offensive will need troops they don't have. Weakening the main line will allow other fronts to advance as well.

Russia will likely be able to advance much more quickly once they get past the mass of the Ukrainian fortifications. Ukraine will likely continue to build more as the frontline evolves, however, with decreased manpower and resources, Ukraine will struggle greatly to repel the Russians. I believe then it will turn into a landslide.

Be careful weeb, neither rybar or RU MOD confirmed the major offensive as rybar only reported its just work of recon group also no mention from from RU MOD in their daily report about this event. Most of this information is coming from Ukraine side and they tends to exaggerated their report for PR purposes.
