Hello... I have hit a mental wall. I'm an intermediate magician i guess and i don't know where to go... What books to read and stuff. Any experienced magician willing to help me?

Notis Katsa I just bought 4 magic books and I think I was in the same situation as you as an intermediate magician wanting to learn more and not knowing where to go. I recommend not getting royal road to card magic because most likely you know everything in it like I did. I would definitely recommend expert card technique because honestly there is so much stuff in it I don't know where to start and I would also get expert at the card table. Also since there is little coin magic on CZcams and other platforms, you might want to consider bobo's modern coin magic so you can do some really intense coin magic so you don't have to carry a deck with you everywhere. Hope I helped!
I would recommend picking up some books. Which books do you have already? I can recommend a few more. Other than that, start trying to come up with simple effects, and build on them. If you need a lot of inspiration, buy a cheap effect that you would actually use.
Ben Turnock I would not recommend Erdnase. Erdnasep put a ton of stuff in it, but a lot of it is done wrong, or just repeat stuff. A lot of stuff in Erdnase is not for the intermediate magician. I picked up Erdnase when I started out, and after 1/4 of the book, I went and asked the magic community if I'm reading it wrong, because I was getting nothing out of it. They told me the same thing I'm telling you. Sure, moves like the pass and skinning the hand are great, but a lot of stuff in Erdnase is cheating at cards with sleights you really shouldn't use.
Notis Katsa I'm in the same position and have decided I really want to take my magic to the next level. I am currently trying to perfect to the best of my abilities the major moves that I know. The classic pass (and all the other passes, the bottom deal (and all the other deals), card controls, etc. There is always something you can be working on to make it better. Hope this helps:))
