Hi Maaike, this was such a lovely video! I enjoyed watching this, it's so personal and fun as well. Your little Dior memory box is the sweetest! I also loved seeing the palettes you kept.
I too have my make up memory box, but I keep it really really small, like 5-6 products. There's a Lancome lipstick which my aunt gave to me and they don't make that packaging anymore. I also keep a discontinued Givenchy lipstick because of the beautiful packaging and because it used to be my favourite, Dior's Cherie Bow palette and Essence x Pac-Man eyeshadow palette. I still use that Sleek palette that used to be your Naked 2 before you actually owned Naked 2 :)

I have a makeup memory box too. I enjoy having one. I honestly don’t even buy palettes much anymore because over the years I’ve decluttered over 200 palettes and it’s just not worth it to keep buying stuff if I just declutter things
Hear hear, I still buy them for reviews and see if I can find good stuff but I like keeping the old ones around too.

The lipsticks by chanel are so good, my mom had bought one back in the years when i was 10 or younger (i'm still young, in my mid 20') and it is still good (maybe desinfect it but the quality is just wow)
Yes some products keep much longer than you might think.
@@FloatinginDreams but then i don't know if those produced now are as good as before, but then i can understand for things like electronic stuff, they won't get money anymore if we bought only once

Dear Maika, i love your video. Make me think, i use to have one palette from Pupa from the 90’s, then i had one from Victoria Secret from 2003 and know my old one is Urban Decay Naked 1, i keep it because it was a presrnt from my mother

I also love Hot Mama over Orgasm. I still use Hot Mama a lot in the summer. I also like the bronzer from that line, Bahamama in the summer. It is deeper but lighthanded it is great. I think it is the undertone. I prefer it over the Oscar/Oliver bronzer of the Balm. In the winter I like that Charlotte Tilburry bronzer you just showed. I still have a collection of the Maybelline Nudes collection; the nudes, blush nudes, gold nudes, burgundy nudes, rock nudes and so I had and have all of them. Never use them anymore as I'm now stepped up in quality and pricetag. But still, I did enjoy them and collected them. They teached me what I liked and the Blush Nudes was really nice on me, that one was my favourite.
Yes for that level of nostalgia. So many products in this box aren't necessarily used too much but they remind me of trips or places I have been too.
