Hi Maaike I am not on tiktok as I like longer form content (rarely do I use instagram for this reason too). I fell down the panning rabbit hole earlier in the year and feel that has curbed my makeup purchases tbh. Seeing how long it takes to use stuff up has been eye opening 😂. I’ve dipped my toe into project panning and am enjoying it, rather than just watching new makeup material. I don’t have a massive collection anyway but it has made me even more aware of how long makeup takes to use.
I got a few samples when I was in the US of things I needed to see the shades in person etc (mostly complexion products). I found a new to me product that I liked so I’m going to get that next month- ilia spf tint. I like it better than the Haus labs, shiseido new foundation, EL new foundation and the LE. My very dry mature rosacea and eczema prone skin actually looks plump and dewy for hours ❤❤❤. I can use concealer where I need a bit extra coverage but I am currently really pleased with it. Panning content is so satisfying to watch but I gave up on watching it when I noticed people purposely digging into products just to hit pan.

Katie Jane Hughes is great & I absolutely adore Erin Parsons! She is the indisputable queen imo! I can't wait til she opens her makeup museum one day so I can visit! Oh & of course the LL (lipstick lesbians) are incredible! It's easy to see why their acct has grown so quickly in such a short time!

I find your videos so helpful bc I’m colored a lot like you. I’m a smidge more cool toned than warm but almost neutral so your eyes and lips are great recommendations for me personally.
WAS CURIOUS IF YOU WOULD DO A SPRING/SUMMER LIPSTICK IDEA LIST…..and in particular the ones like today where they are bordering on warm….i need suggestions. Wrote down today’s lipstick for sure.
I did one in the past for sure. I pretty much swear by the pinks by LE in both the True Velvet and Luxuriously Lucent line. Anothe fave is MAC Impassioned which is a bright coral.
I am not on TikTok but i watch here on CZcams enough people from makeup and fragrances Channels! I follow Cristina and Alexis (lipstick lesbians ) here on YT and i don't know why they not having 1 million subs , i really like their niche channel 😊
They def deserve it but I think they got started on Tiktok so the following is larger on there.
They said on a recent interview on the beautiful & bothered podcast that they started on tt & only recently moved to yt. They also said they need to focus & post more consistently here. Love them!
