I have just had my colour analysis done and I am a summer which means I look best in cool tones but all of the makeup was warm before so this is Summer helpful. I sm actually light brunette and medium skin atm but light in summer. Xx

The pinks I wear are in this video. I don't enjoy more muted pinks on myself and hardly wear them. The only one that gets frequent rotation is Love of My Life by LE.
Hi Maaike I’m not normally a bright lipstick person, but this year I decided to be a bit braver 😂 (probably because I had such a difficult time finding anything cool toned enough in the more muted shades - numerous failed attempts to buy something I loved from numerous brands as everything turned orange on me😢). I ended up buying Laura Mercier rose mauve. It’s not mauve but it is an orchid colour and is perhaps a slightly less saturated version of the truly purple toned pinks shown. I’m incredibly pale so everything looks brighter on me and this is no exception. It’s as bright as I’m going to wear and looks bright pink on me without the white base making it look neon. If someone is looking for something a touch more muted than the options shown then it’s worth trying on to see if they like it. As with any lipstick it can be worn full on or blotted down a little under a gloss. Best wishes x

Hi Maaike, great selection of colours! I have some of these myself and yes they work great with my cool to neutral undertone. Personally I find Velvet Ribbon the best on you, as well as the Kiko one, and the one I liked the least on you is definitely the 3ina one (sorry I know you said you like it!!) - I find colours like 3ina one working only if the blush is also pink/purple with matching undertone.
I have several Revlon super lustrous lipstick shades and I quite like them (although, I agree, not very long lasting but I don’t mind). Too bad they’re so hard to find now. But I would highly recommend you find their Fire and Ice shade and try it out - it’s a stunning red that really suits all undertones and if I’m not mistaken this shade has been in their range continuosly since the 1950s.

The 3INA I only like in certain situations indeed. I find those barbie pink shades quite limited. And guess what other Revlon lipstick I picked up ;-)

Do you have an opinion on the difference between Lisa Eldridge New Wave vs. Carnival?
I prefer New Wave for sure! Carnival is a bright pink but it has quite a bit of warmth. I tend to favor the bright pinks from this video over Carnival.

Do you have a light oliveness to your skin aswell? I am a completly cool undertone (had a professional analysis, best thing I ever did) but since I have olive overtones and they get more intense when I tan, friends used to tell me I must be warmtoned.
No I am def not an olive. Tried olive toned foundation before and I looked like she-hulk. Pinky peach is what suits me best. But I have brown eyes, darker brows and lashes which means I can get away with more. My hair is a darker blonde with both ashy strands but also a hint of strawberry to it. So it's very much a mixed bag
