Thank you Olivia! :) I'm really glad you found it helpful and let me know if there are any other C&C videos you'd like to see!

Such gorgeous pigs
THANK YOU🎉🎉🎉 hugs 🫂
My guinea pigs love it
This was super helpful! You make very easy to follow videos. Thank you oh so much! My hubby brought a piggie home to surprise our daughter. She wasn’t enthused but I got attached over the month we’ve had him. He’s currently in an awfully small cage that we already had so I plan to make a much longer one this week. On Friday (my birthday!) we are driving almost an hour to an exotic animals rescue in Christmas, FL to get a buddy for little Buckey! Now our daughter is excited about joining me and helping thigh o it choose one of the nine boys that are available! Last thing I need are some liners! I want to sew some felts but I may end up buying some since I only have five days before I have not one but two piggies. Thank you again so, so much for your wonderful videos!
It's great news that you're getting Buckey a friend! It sounds like you're going to be fantastic piggy parents! :)
Thank you thank you THANK YOU for this vid. So helpful!

Great video... Thanks🐾
This is soo helpful!! 😃
Brilliant! :)
thoughts on putting the ramp in the middle rather than by the side? it would be much harder to jump out, and leaves room around the edge for the piggies to run around the perimeter of the cage
I looooooooo
ve guinea pigs
Cool cayj
First❤️
Do you have a video with how to cut the gap in the grids for the ramp please
This was a super helpful video! We have males so I feel like I need to add 2 ramps so they have multiple options for moving around. What are your thoughts on this? I’d also love to see a 2x2 loft (offset) video. :)
That's a good idea! I guess you could put a ramp on the other side in the same way as the first ramp. We will probably do some more C&C cage setup videos in the future so if you have any other ideas of what you'd like to see let me know and I'll add it to the "ideas" list! :)
I have the amazonbasics grids but they snap when I try to bend them for the ramp, would coroplast only hold for the ramp?
Same and just found that out 🤦🏻♀️
These videos are really helpful. We have a single guinea pig (after her cage mate died). We now have her living indoors in a 2x3 C&C cage but would like to add a loft. Is it possible to add a loft to a 2x3 cage or will the ramp be too steep? If it is possible have you any dimensions for the ramp?
Hi thanks for the video. I’m in the uk can you tell me where you purchased the Correx from?
I am getting a c&c cage ( a 2x4 ) did you get a cage or get the parts to build it the cages we find on c&c are ones with no bit on the side of the ramp?
We bought the separate components. If your cage is going against a wall then you won't need those extra grids on the back - we added them to make sure the guinea pigs couldn't jump from the ramp out of the cage.
Guinea Piggles : thanks for the help!! 😄
Guinea Piggles we decided to get a slightly bigger and different cage for my pigs 😁
My question how many cubes do you need to make a single floor 2x4 c&c cage so when I’m shopping I know how many to get
Where do you buy your grids from? :)
What are the dimensions of the grids that you are using? I have 13.8 inch (35 cm) grids and would like to know what dimensions you would recommend for cutting the coroplast. Thank you!
I found on some forum that we shouldn't use multi level guinea pig cage, as they are afraid. But, this Video is awesome and I think it's ok to do that. So, can multi level cage be an good idea for 4/6 guinea pigs?
yes
As long as the ramp isn't steep they will be fine and should get used to it although elderly guinea pigs can sometimes find it more difficult to use a ramp. This cage wouldn't be big enough for 4-6 guinea pigs - it's only really big enough for 2-3 piggies but you can make them larger so you have 5 or 6 grids across.
That's great. Thanks a lot. I got it.
I have a sort of similar loft for my piggies, except it’s bigger.
You can adapt the design for various sizes and shapes :) Bigger is always better when it comes to guinea pig cages!
Is it okay to make your own cage with safe building-materials?
Yes you can as long as you check any wood or other materials you use is safe for them and there is no danger from predators or of them escaping or at risk :)
And is it expensive? Bc I was thinking of making a cage like that
It's not expensive but prices differ depending on where you are - check out the links in the description on where to buy all the bits you need and you'll see you much they all cost. Hope that helps :)
If ur in the US then it will cost about $50 -$30 for grids and $20 for coroplast
Where do you get all that stuff?
You can check out the description for links on where to buy all the components :)
How do I convince my mum and dad to get two guinea pigs ?
If you can show them how responsible you are then I'm sure that would help. They need to know that you'll continue with all the guinea pig chores even after the novelty has worn off :) I'm sure you would take great care of them though :)
The grids on the back of the loft isn’t in the connectors. And the connectors are also placed wrong.
are guinea dad fleeces actually worth the money
If you're using fleece, then I would recommend GuineaDad. We've used others that haven't been as absorbent. But we use disposable bedding now as it does last longer and rather than doing a full clean every 2-3 days we can do it every 7 days which is a lot easier.
@@GuineaPiggles ok thank you i will look into investing into one
