this is the scariest version of tetris I've ever seen. there's so little margin for error, it makes every piecement places that much more nerves for the newbies in the finals

Can we take a moment to appreciate the sound design for this minigame and how the SFX really nail the feeling of the blocks being large and chunky, almost unnaturally so?
It's like shuffling wood blocks around a workbench or something.

If this would exist in real tetris i would have done the 1m points challenge long ago instead of 68 days ago(level 30+ idk the lvl because after lvl 29 the lvl counter bugs out lol)
its called a t-spin mini. im not sure but they still give bonuses, just not as powerful as normal tspin singles or doubles

-dark music when losing
-nonsense and strange animals doing whatever a animal do in any situation
-simple but hard minigames that makes you feel anxiety
-THIS MONKEY LOOKS SCARY AS HELL
-japanese songs that sometimes just disappear and gets muted
And last but not least:
-MONKI FLIP JUMPSCARE (old meme but nice flip)

This video set the bar for me when playing Dekaris. Once I broke this score, I then found out about Koryan's maxout, which drove me even further. Yesterday, I maxed out in Dekaris. Thanks for being one of my driving forces, because I don't think I would've gotten there without this.

Looking up more information about this game (AKA putting in the kanji for the game title) the vocal songs in this game were created by a group called TEAM DEKARIS.
That's right. Actually I still have the OST on my phone and listen to it from time to time, it's really catchy xD
@Nahuel Robledo, hi How did you manage to get the region to be English instead of Japanese? I can't seem to change it =(
I really don't remember. I'm using Demul just like I configured it the very first time a long time ago.
Although in config, Naomi Bios, I have the "Auto detect" option enable, and at the same time it shows one of the japan bios selected.
@Nahuel Robledo, Yeah I tried auto detect and it still shows japanese, I tried to manually select each bios but none of them work or only the japanese one, and even when I enter test mode/service mode I check the settings there it says Region: Japan but no way to change it.
I think it's a good idea for the background to rise as you progress in the game, starting from underwater and all the way into space.
But a bad thing is that, after the planets, it abruptly ends with two galaxies.
That ranking system is so fucking satisfying.
There's no way I would have the patience to do this.

Holy shit, at first I thought “huh, this looks easy.” But then, I remembered that there’s like 15 blocks of space or some shit, there’s a level in which it instantly hard drops you, the arcade cabinet is constantly vibrating and shaking, the stick is purposefully unresponsive, and the game is purposefully basically unplayable.
Goddammit, SEGA.

Actually, you lose if a WHOLE tetromino is over the line, even if there is at least one block of a tetromino under the line and the rest over the line, you're safe. I know, the warning should say it clearly.
Yes, you also lose when the spawned tetromino overlaps another one already placed.
About the L spawn at 6:44. As you can see there are two block of the I tetromino over the line, in the last column (6th column). Well, the L spawns inside columns 3, 4, and 5. That's why it was not a game over.
I understand way better as of why you didn’t die in those places. It’s the “Tetromino” part that messed me, and for some reason, I thought 1 block equals a Tetromino. Silly me...
And yes, I do see the J piece spawn without being interrupted by that I piece at 6:44, it may have been the one that was the least sarcastic in there. Idk, was there even any sarcasm in my text? .~.
