There is nothing wrong with sports, like he said whatever we do we should glorify God through our works....our works should not replace our faith...but we should glorify it through our works

Making more money then others is not Sin if that was true Jesus wouldn’t have had Kings that we read about in the Bible ... playing a sport and having fun isn’t sin God blessed those with talent who could use there skills to glorify him misusing your Gifts is sin ... not using your gifts God have you is sin ... Jesus wouldn’t have Brought these things in the world and allowed them to progress if they were sin .... there are plenty of athletes who have built communities helped people given kids hope to have role models ... many athletes glorify God which I have seen personally discover The Word from watching those players

How do you glorify God through your carnal activities 🙈 the Bible is referring to glorifying God through His Word by everything you do.

Devon Sanders How about you not get involved in sports and instead work at a restaurant, in that way you cause less people to sin. Talking about God and Jesus in sports as a player I think is forbidden as many sport companies hate God.Havent you read about the NFL quarterback that was forced to turn his Jesus Jersey inside out??

Perry Froze right look at how they did Tim Tebow. They made fun of him for praying before games and having John 3:16 written on his face. They mocked him so much he quit playing football

Perry Froze the world hates Jesus but that doesn't mean you can't preach about Jesus in the world ,so if a sports company hates Jesus it doesn't mean you cant preach about Jesus in that company ,if you truly preach about Jesus you could get persecuted wether your an athlete or not ,God bless you

Exercise is good (in reasonable moderation). Competitive sports is, at best, a waste of a Christian's time; at it's worst it's the embodying of a spirit whose goal is a deadly self-exaltation that can be over-powering and all-consuming.
The physical arts for art's sake can be basically good, but often, especially, perhaps, in Western culture, a cancerous competitive spirit may accompany even that, making it displeasing to God.
None of these kind of 'sports' things are really things to build heavenly treasure on. That comes from loving God and the things of God and from loving others, not trying to assert oneself and prevail over them in competitive contests.

God is not involved in any sports, because of sin...
In sports theirs hate, outbursts of wrath, malice, envy, strife, idolatry, the love of money, pride, exaltation, etc.

Wrong that's like saying God's not involved in this world because of all the sin in it, or he's not involved in our lives since we are filled with sin.. as a true Christian glorify God in everything you do! Play sport and be an example for young Christians coming through also..
