I had Tom Aspinall as Fighter of the Year. he came back from a brutal knee injury with a completely different, fresh and killer mindset. Tom then destroyed both his opponents and got a title at HW on 11 days' notice with no camp and a back injury against the most feared HW power puncher and striker on the planet and he did it in the first round and with mad respect and dignity. I think it is also right up there for the knockout and performance-of-the-year contender against Pavlovich.

I’m pretty sure Francis is the most feared HW power puncher and striker on the planet. In terms of pure striking Gane is also above them all. It was a good win but it was mainly 1 good win Tybura wasn’t a big win because Tybura isn’t that good.

How to watch combat sports(mma) i mean where you look when watching mma do you look at the space between two fighters to allow you to look at what both fighters are doing at the same time or what?

Bro come on, Volk took that fight on a week short notice, props to Islam but that obviously would affect the result, just look at the first fight where Volk had the time to prepare, he (at least to me) did enough to win that first fight...
While I'm not saying that the fight being on short notice isn't going to affect Volks performance I think that the main reason why he lost like that is because Islam learned from their first fight a lot more than Volk did.
I just gotta say *When it comes to volk, a lot of us had high hopes for him, but with hindsight we should have all seen that with him having to cut all that weight on such sort notice, just getting back from a surgery on his arm, wasn't training fully... He should have never taken that fight with those circumstances... Islam literally had a full camp, decent time off, volk fought Yair in-between the time, while islam hasn't fought since the last volk fight. Of course volk will be the most compromised and able to be wobbled that he ever has been... Because he usually doesn't crash cut weight and have all these things challenging him on a 10 day short notice hail mary situation... With hindsight i really wish we all supported Volk in not doing this because Islam would NEVER have accepted and done what volk did if the circumstances were exactly the same... That's just the truth.. so i hope people don't be too hard on volk or over analyze like (now he's losing it..) it's like, no. There was just a dumb moment in time where someone great took a huge risk and it didn't work. That doesn't mean they are now going downhill in their career, etc. Etc. Like all these videos talking about "they are worried about volk" like come on.. we as fans should not be this harsh.. no story is ever the same. We shouldn't be so all or nothing.
Volk had every advantage in the first fight with the home crowd, the champ travelling to Volk and putting his belt on the line, Makhachev having trouble with travel and rehydration....yet Volk still lost.

Alvarez beat Mendes who's also washed and was 2-2-1nc in his last five, not to mention had only one bk fight against a no name. Mendes was 3-2 in his last five and only had one fight. lane is infamously a shit fighter and a ufc reject twice over. but go on explain to me how beating washed up fighters is more impressive than beating the p4p 1 twice or winning 3 short notice fights one of which is against the 2nd greatest middleweight of all time. @@MrBeetsGaming
